Korrie (korriekins) | 1 comments Roughly 8 or 9 months ago I came across a role playing group that was based off of a book. Unfortunately, I don't know the title or author. However, I have a plot description that was based off of said book. If anyone could help me try to identify the novel I would be very appreciative!

He spotted them when they were children, no older than ten years old and that was the day, he decided to start his collection. He leaves it mysterious as to why he is this way, why he feels the needs to own people, and torture them. Having stalked the six, seventeen year old’s, from the day he first met them seven years ago, he knows them better than anyone. If they’re good, he’ll reward them with what he knows they like, and want but, if they don’t follow his rules, he can turn nasty. And no one wants to see that side of him.

He likes to think of it as an experiment; having grown up the child of an alcoholic mother, and a drug addicted father, he even likes to think he has saved the children from a life they would not have been able to lead with a smile on their faces.

It was how he decided his collection, the six teenagers becoming the people he wanted to save so badly. And now, he has them in his house, in the middle of nowhere. No one knows where they are, or even if they’re still in the country they were brought up in. Having spent seven years maliciously planning this, he separated the attic into two parts - one for the boys, and one for the girls. Each room contains only beds, and a small desk in the corner.

The torture they undergo is something else he planned out to the finer details - turning the basement into somewhat of a sanctuary where he could punish the teenagers when they weren’t living up to his expectations. If they refuse to do chores, they are taken down into the basement, and if they talk back to him, they get the same treatment. If they do anything he deems as wrong, they all know where they will end up.

A small cell is contained in the basement, just enough to fit a person in there, but nothing more. A collection of knives, a bed he uses for other purposes, and even electricity he uses to shock them into acting as he wants. His plan is to make them into the perfect collection, but he has a long way to go until that happens. He wants to break them, he wants to make them forget about ever going home. And the teenagers just can’t break the feeling that he’s done all of this before, and succeeded.

Now, in an unexpected twist, he’s decided to give three of them the power as masters or mistresses, and the other three, their slaves. It’s a test, and he’s watching them every single step of the way but he knows that when he breaks them down enough, they’ll all be his for the taking.

Thanks in advance!
