I'm Laura, and I'm old and 40. Now that we've gotten that out of the way....
I don't work with kids currently, but in the future I'd like to do some volunteer work with abused children. So, I'd really like to immerse myself in the YA world, find out what the best YA books are, and start getting them to kids that need them! Which is why I wanted to be involved with this group.
And Fiona's terrific and techno-savvy, so....she'll be a great teacher and leader.

200 books???? Wow! I would give anything to be able to read that many in a year! Good luck! I'll be thrilled with my 60! That's until I win lotto and I can retire to read full time! ;)
