Dare You To (Pushing The Limits #2) by Katie McGarry

Ryan lowers his lips to my ear. "Dance with me, Beth."

"No." I whisper the reply. I hate him and I hate myself for wanting him to touch me again....

"I dare you..."

If anyone knew the truth about Beth Risk's home life, they'd send her mother to jail and seventeen-year-old Beth who knows where. So she protects her mom at all costs. Until the day her uncle swoops in and forces Beth to choose between her mom's freedom and her own happiness. That's how Beth finds herself living with an aunt who doesn't want her and going to a school that doesn't understand her. At all. Except for the one guy who shouldn't get her, but does....

Ryan Stone is the town golden boy, a popular baseball star jock-with secrets he can't tell anyone. Not even the friends he shares everything with, including the constant dares to do crazy things. The craziest? Asking out the Skater girl who couldn't be less interested in him.

But what begins as a dare becomes an intense attraction neither Ryan nor Beth expected. Suddenly, the boy with the flawless image risks his dreams-and his life-for the girl he loves, and the girl who won't let anyone get too close is daring herself to want it all....

I loved this one better than the first! I didn't like Beth in Pushing The Limits but she grew on me in this one. I felt bad for Isaiah but Ryan was good for her.

Natasha Orchard (natashamaree) | 61 comments This book was not what I had expected, when I first heard about it I thought it probably won't be as good as the first however I don't believe that now.

This book was definitely worth buying and reading, it had a good plot to it with some twists I didn't expect but all in all I gave this book a 9/10.

Tracey (addicted_to_reading) i didn't like this book as much as i thought i would have. i found Beth and Ryan annoying. i can only hope that Isaiah's book is a lot better.

Sue Tint (suetintlovesindies) | 1 comments I just finished it. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Especially since at the beginning Ryan seemed like a total jerk. I did feel really badly for Isaiah, and I hope he falls in love the way he should!

That's okay because Isaiah finds love in the next book

Sabrina Glowacki | 4 comments I personally liked this book better than the first! When I read Pushing the Limits, I thought that Isaiah and Beth would get together in the second book. But i actually ended up really liking Ryan and Beth together. I can't wait to read the third book of this series!

Yes I'm glad he will get his own book but he really loved Beth so I still feel bad. :-( He kept wanting to take her away and do anything for her.

Lyndsie is talking about The Infernal Devices Series, A Clockwork Princess in this quote! I love these books and are in my top 3 favourite books of all time!
