I've noticed that movie on TV many times.....but never bothered to actually see the movie. Is it that good?

message 5: by Natalie (new)

Natalie Passmore | 68 comments I love Tarantino and I think it's his best. The acting is great

message 6: by Cath (new)

Cath (cathastrophic) SAW
But only the first one

I watched so many times, it's like a party trick my friends like to make me do:

I stand my back to the TV and act out the whole movie, saying every line and doing every ''moves'' as it is on the screen.... And I can go through the whole thing :P

message 7: by Anoop (new)

Anoop Pai B (anooppai) I love SAW... most people are so ungrateful to be alive!!!!!

message 8: by Cath (new)

Cath (cathastrophic) But only the first one....

it's like they did the first one with a little people dying and a lot of story and saw the wave it did and said ''oh cool, we'll do a second one, a little less story and a bit more victims''

Then they saw the excitement about the second and said ''oh cool, ok let's do a third one, cut out a bit of the story and add more victims''.

Then they saw the crowd it brang and said '' fuck the story, let's just kill people!''

And that's how 4-5-6-7 were made

message 18: by Rahul Nath (new)

Rahul Nath (cultofpersonality) | 45 comments I have seen The Dark Knight atleast 20 times :D

There's this classic Charlie Chaplin masterpiece from 1931- "City Lights". So beautiful. Will leave you with a smile and in the end, maybe a tear or two.

Pulp Fiction for it's amazing amazing screenplay.

@Natalie- I love Inglourious Basterds but prefer Pulp Fiction :D Vincent Vega and Jules Winnfield are hilarious. But yeah, the intro scene of Basterds with the Jew Hunter is probably my favorite.

Fight Club. Probably no other movie has influenced my beliefs as much.

Among Hindi movies- I love Andaz Apna Apna, Jab We Met, Kaminey, Socha Na Tha and Dil Chahta Hai (the movie with the most rewatch value).

Ah, not a scary movie lover. I'm really into the retro horror films.

The movie My Bloody Valentine was filmed in my town when I was 10. So cool to watch them making a movie in my own home town.

I liked JTYJN :P but I wouldn't put it in the same class as these movies. Just personal opinion :)
I remember watching The Departed every morning for a month or so. I swear a little bit of Boston accent crept into my English :D

Forgot mentioning Snatch & Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. Guy Ritchie Zindabad!
