Feliks (dzerzhinsky) Wrong on Tarantino. Tarantino's crazy dialog only ever became 'popular' first of all, because it was laden with expletives. So it impressed adolescents and adolescent-minded adults. Its actually the worst- possible constructed dialog in the history of movies. Every line is not 'gold' ..every line is a failure because it doesn't perform the two basic functions of dialog: that is, to further the plot or reveal character.

Instead, his dialog is written deliberately in a way to have nothing to do either with the story or with the characters. Its entirely, grossly, tangential. Aka, "chatting about hamburgers when blowing someone away".

Its also emotionless; feelingless--there is nothing for an actor to do with such lines except "smirk" during their delivery. Its only purpose is to be 'stylish' and 'cool' and 'quotable' for later on, when kids hang out at a TGIFriday's yukking it up with their pals.

Tarantino fails because you can't rest a *genuine* movie plot on snarky, smug, glib, suave, Steve McQueen-style quips; this "phony" dialog (topics like Burger King, or 'tipping waitresses') is just one more reason why his movies are BS from top-to-bottom. He has yet to make a single true, real, or authentic film.

Worse, he has spawned a thousand hacks trying to imitate his success. It's a disaster.

Seriously this is the most favourite dialogue of mine ever! I don't know why I love this line somuch. I wrote this as my status in all my Social Networking sites. People asked me why I am so in love with this dialogue. Just love it! I have a Bollywood dialogue too which I like. :D
It is
"Jo main bolta hu woh main karta hu, aur jo main nahi bolta hu woh main definitely karta hu"
This means "Whatever I say I do it, and what I don't say I definitel do that"
I hope I explained it well. :P

Regina George: "I CAN'T! I'm on an all-carb diet, you FREAKS!!" :)

Karen to Cady...
Karen: "So if you're from Africa...then why are you...white?"
Cady: "..."
Gretchen: "Oh my God, Karen, you can't just ask people why they're WHITE!"

My sister and I quote this movie all the time - especially the Taco Bell bit!
