Claudette It's an easy copy and paste go-to for JE I think. Way overdone!

Joy I'm not sure, but I think it's hilarious!

Kari I love it too. In my opinion, it's not overdone. It's comic relief really. These books aren't meant to be heavy so I like light things like this. Not that blowing up a car is light, but you know what I'm saying.

Donna Davis It's all a matter of how she works it in. If we can see it coming, then it's a cut-and-paste, but in this book at least, I wasn't expecting it and it just made me howl with laughter. And I too would like to know how many of Stephanie Plum's vehicles (counting loaners) have gone up!

Donna Davis http://stephaniesobsession.blogspot.c... My BFF just referred me to this thread, which tallies them up through #14. The writer confesses that she herself had lost count! PS When you count, you will have to decide whether merely being on fire counts as an explosion.

Justine Smith For me any kind of destruction should be counted. I have just finished listening to all 19+4 books. They keep me company when I drive or garden or clean. I believe they was the perfect companion of the summer. Next time I do this I will keep track of them all
