Disappearance: by Don Inman

Mike Banner a man who thought everything was ok, until his family's strange disappearance. He can't understand why this has happened to him, but he will go to desperate measures to find out. But to get his family back he has to remain calm and keep his head together, because the obstacles and dangers he's going to face will test him and shock him to his core and may cause him not to be able to see his family ever again.

While looking for his family he meets a stranger that can possibly help him, but he's not sure whether or not he can trust them. But for now trust is all he has to get his family back. He will have to do whatever it takes to find out what really happened to his family.

Cleveland | 28 comments Any disappearance has elements of interest, the occult, the criminal intent and that of pure accident. i feel thee is a need to establish what kind of disappearance the family have suffered. Instead there remains too much time spent on what Mike Banner feels. The reader is anxious to know more about the family at this early stage of the story than Mike who is safe. Follow the danger and keep the reader in a state of tension. Don't give the reader a chance to make up his own mind. Convince him this is something worth reading and lay down the lines of the plot in gold. Make it worthy of a read. Avoid 'really' ; it is an over used soft word.
Keep writing.

Cleveland, your job must be just to criticize, because that's all you have done in your comment about my book. And I feel that every book that is wriiten doesn't have to begin with (The) to catch readers attention. Disappearance is the title I chose for my book, and I'm proud of it...and it works for my customers that have already bought and read my book because they thought it was and is worthy of reading. And sales are still continuing to climb. Oh yes, I know there will be some readers that will criticize it, like yourself. But I don't and will not let yours or their negative thoughts control the way I write or chose the title for me. You shouldn't have any thing to say about a book until you have read it from begining to end. I think you joined this group just to criticize.

What a shame.

Cleveland | 28 comments Don,
I am sure everything you say about your book is true. I agree with what you say about your book in terms of title, reasons for reading, sales and so on , it is good to receive background information ,however, I wasn't passing any comment on the book: only the eight lines you'd written about it in the 'Book Excerpts'.That's all.
Best wishes
