Yep. Because we cant describe anyone in one word. We probably couldnt describe a person well in 1 000 words. Plus, it might change by the day.

Faye (asdfayeiouvwxyz) | 269 comments I think I'm an introvert but my friends disagree.

Sasha Ivashkov-Herondale-Jackson (aka Clarisse) (sasha101) | 175 comments i think im kinda in the middle
Between ppl my age, (basically any1 at school) im totally confident and very open. And VERY talkative and im not afriad to be incredibly immature and embarrass myself.

However in front of like relatives, older ppl, other adults, im shy and like to blend into the background.

I think that I would be considered an extrovert. I LOVE talking to people and interacting with people. I mean, I do enjoy the comfort of my room and thinking alone, but for the most part, I exhibit traits of an extrovert.

Same for the most part. Maybe I didn't explain my answer so well. :) I don't tire of being around people easily. Now, when I do, I want to be alone for a while, but it takes quite a while to get to that. I'm fairly outgoing and EXTREMELY talkative (which annoys people sometimes :P).

Ella (AWholeLotofNothing) | 386 comments @Lia
Yeah, I think we all tire quickly around people we dont like. I'm an introvert, and I enjoy talking, and socializing, but it tires me out very quickly. I do not thrive on social interactions. I can stay in my room for days on GR and while reading books.

message 10: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm both, I think.

message 11: by Ruth (new)

Ruth | 2483 comments I'm an introvert. I can't stand parties or large groups of people. I suck at talking to anybody. I get tired of being around anybody except for you guys very quickly. I get homesick if I'm away from home more than three days straight.

message 12: by Islam Ahmed (new)

Islam Ahmed (islamahmed0904) Same here, i open up to friends but i cannot do public speaking or just start a conversation with strangers.

message 13: by Islam Ahmed (new)

Islam Ahmed (islamahmed0904) But i can do it on goodreads, maybe its just psychological.

message 14: by Evan (new)

Evan (sampsom) | 578 comments I have/had that. I'm at an MUN conference there's about 30-50 people in the room and I just can't speak. But I do find that there is a tipping point where after a point I can talk and I'm able to talk well and I find it addicting.

message 15: by Islam Ahmed (new)

Islam Ahmed (islamahmed0904) Yeah, same here, but i dont get addicted to it. I get less nervous is all. Not exactly helpful :)

message 16: by Ella (new)

Ella (AWholeLotofNothing) | 386 comments I'm sure some extroverts wish they were more quiet sometimes too. Perhaps the key to happiness is a decent balance (??). Not a 50% and 50% balance, but not 95-100% sort of thing.

message 17: by Ella (new)

Ella (AWholeLotofNothing) | 386 comments Wow, that's was really badly worded.

i agree with you , even i am an introvert , never talk much if we are not talking something sense , most ppl think i am crazy or boring

This is me. If I'm comfortable with someone I'm even a little bit of a loud mouth and I like cracking jokes. But in day to day life with people I don't know, I'm quiet and very reserved. Meeting people face-to-face that I don't know makes me nervous.

I'm an introvert but I have become slightly more sociable, partly because many of my friends moved away (to new schools and such like) but needles to say I needed to make some more friends so I started being less introvert. But now I have new friends and they are quite introvert too so I can go back to being introvert again, I see no difference between the two, they cancel each other out.

Som Think I'm a divergent...(shhh don't tell anyone!)

message 22: by Faye (new)

Faye (asdfayeiouvwxyz) | 269 comments I don't even know what I am. I mean...sometimes the tests say I'm introvert, sometimes, extrovert.

message 23: by Faye (new)

Faye (asdfayeiouvwxyz) | 269 comments Maybe but I assure you I'm not great. HAHA.
I'll ask my friends if they think I'm an introvert. Haha, I'll send a survey sheet to them or something.

Although I could relate to your "too much noise, too much people" comment. Yea. I don't like big crowds too. This is why I don't find concerts...well fun, no matter how much I like the band/performer.

I'm an introvert. Even though I'm confident talking in front of crowds and with strangers, and I do love hanging out with my friends once in a while (and am pretty talkative while at it), I'd rather be in my room alone.

Lo (darkalleycookies) | 563 comments Mod
Most of my friends are super antisocial, so they don't it's weird at all :D

message 26: by Evan (new)

Evan (sampsom) | 578 comments I've improved vastly over the past few years, 2 years ago I would only venture out of the dayroom for lunch and lessons with one or two of my friends. Now I'm able to talk to people out of the blue and I find that it just makes my life easier, I have been accepted into new friendship groups just by plucking up the courage and talking to people.

message 27: by Carolina (new)

Carolina Morales (carriemorales) | 69 comments I'm both, accordingly to whom I'm speaking to. I'm intro to people I've been recently introduced and extro to people I trust enough to share my opinions.
