Dumbledore's Army discussion

It was my favorite book. I loved it!! Except for the part where Sirius died. :'(

It's the latest one i've read and it was fantastic!

I know!! Except one of the parts I didn't like were the ones where Dumbledore kept avoiding Harry.

Yeah at first you think it's really mean and ignorant until you find out at the end.

Well, he choose it, his death I mean. I was sad and all too, when I read that he died, I cried, but when I found out that he wanted it to be that way, I wasn't that sad anymore.

I love Luna! Besides the end I love reading the parts when Harry yells at Umbridge.

I don't get it. There is a confrontation with Voldemort (or his memory in CoS) in every book except the third and the sixth.

I agree, Tiffany. (I mean that the fifth is the most exciting after the seventh, not that Voldemort should have won over Harry.)

lol. I like Bellatrix as a character, and really Umbidge and Voldy too- in theory. But when I'm reading, I get sucked into the world and Harry's emotions and I hate them. My fav par of OotP was the end when Dumbledore explains everything and Harry totally rips him a new one. I was BEYOND ANGRY that it wasn't in the movie- because that moment completely defines their characters- with Harry it's the misdirected anger and the irrational behavior- and with Dumbledore, it's the calm that shows how much he understands Harry's frustrations and feelings of being blocked in because he himself felt that way in his youth and is constantly haunted by the result of his own irrational actions- here they are kinship and it irritates me that they omitted it.

(I think it be awsome if Harry could actually bring people back from the dead without anything bad happening. They'd still have the same personalities and they'd be the same people.
Then he could bring Sirius back and his parents. All of his friends and all the people who lost their lives by fighting evil when they shouldn't have.) (That is after everything is over with all of the fighting).

It also makes me wonder if Sirius had the mirror with him where he gave the other one to Harry, that if he had it with him when he died if they could still talk to eachother even if he was dead.

i always wonder what really happened when sirius fell behind the veil...did he die right away or was he transported to a place like the place where harry talks to Dumbledore in DH...or what??

Idk. That makes me wonder that 2.
