I agree. I wasn't really that interested in it, to be honest. I guess I am kind of bad when it comes to early US history. Not a big fan because it makes me think of slavery, which is one of the darkest periods in US history. I always did like Native American history though. I like the way Pamela fleshes out the period with real and created but very vivid characters, and gives a very balanced portrayal of the various sides of the story.

Absolutely! I love that she takes historical fact and makes it entertaining to read. And when I want to know more, which is often the case because of how fascinating and exciting PC makes it all, I google the information.
