also love the no humanity and can feel they can control the world
I like my Vampires like Lestat. Charming, Handsome, Seductive, but a cold blooded killer. They should be able to romance one minute, and tear out a throat the next. The brooding, self-concious vampire drievs me nuts and is just weird. Vampires are majestic, powerful, egotistical, maniacal, and dangerous.

I could tell by the interview. I am very excited for this book!
They have to be conflicted and aware of their evil nature. I like the ones that try to suppress their evil side the best they can. And yeah, it doesn't hurt if they're attractive looking. They should be alluring and egotistical too, but their powers should always come with a price. Not only physically but spiritually. That's what made Bram Stoker's original so good. Dracula could never love or be loved I believe it was.
Do you prefer them to be tortured love interests? Killers looking for redemption? Pure monsters with no humanity left? Or do you have another favourite vamp type?
Me, I kind of prefer my vamps evil. They can have moments of good, but at the end of the day, they are blood sucking killers who would like nothing better than to bleed you dry.
