Books 'N Booze Book Club discussion

although i'm a DNF (did not finish), i found the dialog was quite funny. I think the overall irreverence throws a shadow of absurdity over any of humanity's theological notions (a COMMON THEME of all the books thus far?). ;)
i do believe, however, that if there is a god or gods, the top guy should be Christopher Walken.

Libraries and gardens sound pretty good to me. I also really like the idea of 'living' in a big old house (an Italian villa perhaps?) where the doorways can lead to all sorts of places--the beach, the Pyramids, a reading garden, etc. And one door that leads somewhere different every time, just for a bit of surprise. :)
