Nope. They don't have to be. In fact, you have to make a request to create one that is from the books. :)

Personality: Josh is a sweet kid. He’s got a laid back personality from his mom, and her talent in music. He could easily make his way to superstar with his voice. But since he’s a demigod he’s afraid that a monster might attack at a concert and hurt someone. He wouldn’t be able to stand the thought that someone else got hurt because of this, so he keeps his show off the road.

History: Josh lived in the country. His mom wanted to keep him away from as many monsters as possible. She home schooled him. But unlike the believed myths, he did not grow up awkward and apart from the world. Being homeschooled actually made him work to be in society, making him more outgoing and brave then other kids. He started a band, joined in community plays, and had a pretty fulfilling life. But when things were too good to be true. The monster attacked, it destroyed their house, but they got aways safely. When they got away his mom told him about Camp Half-Blood. Leaving her in the hands of some good neighbors he set out. His dad led him to Camp Half-Blood.

Family (Outside the gods):His mom.

Crush/Bf/Gf: None yet.

Strongest Skill: Using his spear.

Weakest Skill: He’s not that great in battle, he is hoping to train some while he’s at camp.

Other: He can pick up almost any instrument and play it, he plays by ear, but his favorite is guitar.

Well...Simon isn't technically in a relationship yet, and neither is Sparrow...But if you don't want to give him to me then fine. But I'd like Esmeralda to have someone.

Simon hasn't exactly made it a relationship...like, you don't say Percy and Annabeth were dating after they had their first kiss, right? But only in TLO, when he asks her.

Before you can find a boyfriend or girlfriend, you need to make a character first ;) there is a Character Creation thread in the Creation folder. I'll get a link in a second!
Also, we do have a limit on children of the Big Three, so the Poseidon cabin is full right now. HOWEVER we have a loophole! You can make a grandchild of Poseidon (As in one of her parents is a demigod child of Poseidon) and at the end of the month she may be upgraded to a full child of Poseidon if enough of the people with children of Poseidon are inactive.

Personality: Mason is a polite, and a complete gentleman. He hates to hurt anyone’s feelings.
History: His dad was a practical medieval historian who caught Demeter’s attention. Not knowing she was a goddess, he married her. Then Mason came along. He lived with his Dad and Grandmother. His dad taught him a lot about medieval times,he made him diligent and willing to work. His grandmother taught him manners. But couldn’t seem to teach him to cook. When strange things started happening, Demeter told Mason’s dad who she really was, then his dad told Mason about the greek gods. Mason begged him to bring him to camp, his dad agreed and dropped him of here.
