A demon comes to high school to tag a girls soul for hell. It turns out she's this not pretty but fun girl who he comes to love. She's innocent but she gets herself to doubt her image therefore she agrees to sell her soul and wishes herself pretty.

Af, how recently did you read this?

It reminds me of Caroline B. Cooney's Vampire's Promise books, particularly Evil Returns, but they might be too old.
