Book Description:

I wrote a review on the books page here on good reads but can't find the link to share, so here's my review :) (by the way.... AMAZING book)


I received this book from the author for an honest review through good reads. Usually I rarely write reviews on books because the books are not that good and I don't like giving a negative review. Just because the book doesn't fit my taste doesn't mean others won't enjoy it.

However, when it comes to You Are Mine, I simply have to leave a review. This book was impossible to put down. I began the book this evening around 7:30pm and finished it around midnight. I simply couldn't put it down! The characters are written so well it's as if you are right there with them. The author wrote this book so well that I felt as if the book were a movie playing out in my head. I love when books are detailed enough to really get a great picture of what's happening and what their world looks like.

The main character goes though some tough and oppressive times in the book. If you are a feminist, try and push through the first half of the book then make a decision on whether or not you like it.

I simply loved the ending. It was not something that I could have guessed would happen and that is a pleasant surprise!

I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a good read. This book definitely is one if the top 5 books I have read this year!
