Am I the only one bothered by the nonstop typos in this book???! Abbi Glines must have been rushing for a serious deadline because there had to be at least 20 of them. We're talking misspelled words, word repeats, wrong use of their/there/they're, missing words, extra pronouns--I could go on. Is this only the case on the kindle edition?

I agree! Not just this book but too many indie authors asking us readers to spend hard-earned money on a product that hasn't been properly edited is getting ridiculous. I wouldn't go to a clothing store where the seams aren't finished and pay for the clothes, so why is this acceptable?

And their defense is that as an indie/self pub author they can't afford a good editor? don't most have beta readers/reviewers? Shouldn't the betas point out these errors before the book is published? Even offering a good friend dinner in exchange for proof reading your book is better than no editing at all.

I am so tired of these authors publishing books that contain typos, grammatical mistakes. Don't deserve to be read.

I totally agree. It really irks me that someone who can write a book and charge good money for it without having a decent editor give it a once-through. *IF* Glines has an editor, he/she should be fired with the quickness. Grammar/spelling/technical errors are totally unacceptable.

I'm so used to it it's ridiculous. Now I catch myself just reading the book and editing it in my head as I go along. The sad thing is that these are some good books with great plots and story lines, but the grammar definitely leaves something to be desired.
