Please list books where the hero falls really hard for the heroine early on (although he might not necessarily have achieved her mutual affection or they haven't gotten together until later on in the book). I do mean in love and not just random, fleeting lust.

I love a hero who is head over heels for the heroine.

The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie
Claiming the Courtesan
Fifty Shades of Grey
Embrace and Conquer are a few titles I have on my "besotted hero" shelf. For a dark erotic read Comfort Food is another one. But beware, it's DARK

McGee Magoo Is it okay of the hero has been in love long before the story begins? Like since childhood or teenage years? As long as he's the one who has feelings first?

COMFORT FOOD???? That's not love... He's not in love with her..

Goge (BARRONS) le Moning Maniac, | 288 comments I second Big Bad Beast, also I absolutely adored Miss Congeniality by Shelly Laurenston as well. It's a shorter story in the anthology When He Was Bad, I believe. Despite being a short story it is fantastic. There's also The Beast in Him from Laurenston as well.

McGee Magoo I've been on a Roxie Rivera kick lately and it's a running thing in her books for the heroes to be all-in from the get-go. Besides Ivan (Her Russian Protector, #1) by Roxie Rivera , the rest of her Russian Protector series (and the Connolly Brothers) heroes are all hopelessly in love with the heroine's before the story begins. Dimitri (Her Russian Protector, #2) by Roxie Rivera Yuri (Her Russian Protector, #3) by Roxie Rivera Nikolai (Her Russian Protector, #4) by Roxie Rivera Sergei (Her Russian Protector, #5) by Roxie Rivera In Kelly's Corner (Fighting Connollys #1) by Roxie Rivera In Jack's Arms (Fighting Connollys, #2) by Roxie Rivera

The good news is that in 2014 she's coming out with 3 new russian protectors books (Kostya, Vasya and Danila) and follow-up bonus ones for Nikolai and Sergei! Plus, the last of the Connolly Brothers books (In Finn's heart) is set to come out next month. Warning: read them all in order or you could be confused by the many, many players!

I agree totally, her heroes really are all in right away no looking back. In my mind Nikolai was the best and I'm anxiously awaiting Kostya.

Because of the backstory in each one you really do need to read in order.

message 35: by McGee Magoo (new)

McGee Magoo Oh, man Kostya is going to be the best! He's just so bad. Ex-KGB, hitman, cleaner. When he pulled that guy's tooth out of his head, I knew his love story would be awesome. What kind of woman would tame him? I hope Holly is worthy.

message 36: by Lizzie (new)

Lizzie Charles | 10 comments Unfortunately Shannon I think we have to wait until later this year to find out if Holly is worthy of Kostya, or should that be the other way around? LOL Sigh, nothing like a long wait to make the story that much more delicious when you finally get it in your hot little hands.
