Teresa,
Did you not get the epub I emailed to you? I sent it yesterday. Let me know if you didn't.
Thanks, Deb Rix

I did get the epub version but couldn't figure out how to send it to my Kindle.
When Bookrooster sends me an R&R, they send it as an email attachment, .mobi version, and I just forward it to my Kindle.
It could very well be a problem on my end, myself not being very tech savvy.
Thanks,
Teresa

Okay let's try it again, I will send you mobi, I thought you needed epub, my fault. This has worked for others, so fingers crossed.

Hi Tracey, so glad you liked it. I would love it if you could post your review on amazon.com too. Thanks for reading.
Deb Rix

Apparently I'm a Luddite. What device are you reading on? Kindle? which one? I'm waiting the arrival of my brand new kindle so i can't try those files out personally yet, but other people haven't had problem. I think it depends on which version of the kindle you have. sorry for the trouble. Just when you think you've got it all sorted out....

Sarah, I sent you pdf.
thanks, Deb Rix

Hope you like the review! Am posting it on Amazon as well.
Do you have a blog or Facebook page so that I can be informed as to when the next book in this series is available?
Thanks so much!!
Teresa

Hi, my website has been a bit delayed, but it's going to look so good it's worth the wait. It should be live later this week and there's a mailing list to sign up for. I'll let you know. And thanks again for reading and posting.

Hi Helena,
Just noticed that your email address is incorrect up above, I will send you the pdf right now, sorry for the confusion.
Deb Rix

I'm so sorry for the delay, I've been exceptionally busy lately despite me thinking I'd have time off. I really enjoyed this book however. I can't wait for book 2!

Book Title: External Forces
Link to Book: External Forces
Number of copies available: 20 pdf, epub
Genre of Book: YA Dystopian
Reader Age Range: 15+
Synopsis:
TREASON. BETRAYAL. HEARTBREAK.
A LOT CAN HAPPEN TO A GIRL BETWEEN HER FIRST KISS AND HER FIRST KILL.
It’s 100 years since the Genetic Integrity Act was passed and America closed its borders to prevent genetic contamination. Now only the enemy, dysgenic Deviants, remain beyond the heavily guarded border. The Department of Evolution carefully guides the creation of each generation and deviations from the divine plan are not permitted.
When 16-year-old Jess begins to show signs of deviance she enlists in the Special Forces, with her best friend Jay, in a desperate bid to evade detection by the Devotees. Jess is good with data, not so good with a knife. So when the handsome and secretive Sergeant Matt Anderson selects her for his Black Ops squad, Jess is determined to figure out why.
As her deviance continues to change her, Jess is forced to decide who to trust with her deadly secret. Jess needs to know what’s really out there, in the Deviant wasteland over the border, if she has any hope of making it to her 17th birthday. Because if the enemy doesn’t kill her first, the Department of Evolution probably will.
…a magnificently imagined world and intriguing characters. Rix engagingly plays out Jess and Matt’s relationship with subtle touches, longing looks and playful banter. She also effectively challenges her young readers to face difficult questions—what does “Human” mean, and who should decide?—while ably setting the stage for an upcoming sequel. A complex, intriguing YA sci-fi adventure. —Kirkus Reviews
