Alice (alice20) I don't know when I fell for him. But I did.

It wasn't that he was particularly beautiful. I mean, to me, he was, with his always-messy blond hair and clear brown eyes, but he wasn't one of those super models all my friends seemed to be obsessed about. He was always just a backdrop, a silent watchful eyes sitting in the left back corner of the classroom, never raising his hand or conversing with his peers. I don't even know why or how I suddenly started noticing him. Maybe it was because he was so quiet all the time, or maybe it was because he never seemed to want to say hi to me even when everyone else did, or maybe it was just because of the fact that I hadn't completely opened my eyes and looked at the world around me until my brother's death. But I'll leave that story for another time.

He was always walking with his hands in his pockets along the side of the sidewalk. That much, I noticed about him, because every time I walked out of class, he would be there, with his shoulders hunched, pacing up and down the sidewalk as if he were trying to solve all the world's problems in his head. And, I guess, in a way he did solve the world's problems. My world's problems, at least.

Alice (alice20) Aw thanks. I usually start these prompts with no idea where I'm going, and then I just make up stuff as I go along, but for this one I was stumped. Do you have any ideas where I could take this?

Amy Thomson Haha, Ali, your response to that was brill! I liked it though! I liked knowing about all the difference characters so quickly, and I liked Danny's soft side.
Ali, with your other idea, I was thinking a sort of (to include the brother aspect) that perhaps her brother had passed - in one way or another - and the lead closes herself off to people, even to her best friends and I mean of you wanted to go deeper - if a little bit cliche - her current boy friend. She closes herself off to everyone but him, because he's the only one who can get through to her, maybe they're partners in some assignment and unlike any other character he gives her the tough love of "Get your ass in gear", or maybe he's the only one to get through to her because he was connected to her brother/her brothers death i.e the brother and him shared an interest in the same band. And when the lead see's the boy scribbling down some lyrics she feels connected to we brother again, or maybe he was the one who called 999/911 when the death of the brother happened.
I dunno.
That's the back ground I picture. Would you write some more? I love romance and I love your style of writing. xxxxx

Alice (alice20) Yeah me too! (Glad she didn't die though. I hate when characters commit suicide because of love *cough* Romeo and Juliet *cough*)

Alice (alice20) Lol yeah. I'm not the biggest Shakespeare fan but I admit he was a genius.
