https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/... is a link to a thread about groups that disappeared over the July 4th, 2015 holiday. If you suddenly found yourself kicked out of a group with no warning, it is possible that the reason is because the entire group disappeared.
GR is not willing to post a site-wide message about this, and so moderators of groups that are still "there" are passing the message around in the hopes that all those who were impacted by this problem will be alerted. While I'm not a moderator for this group, I thought I'd pass the alert on anyway. I've also alerted the groups that I'm a moderator on, and checked my other groups and am posting the alert in the groups that haven't been informed.
