Debbie's Spurts (D.A.) | 6325 comments Please merge S Fowler Wright into S. Fowler Wright. Then there are several editions that need combining.

Not necessarily this same author, but while looking up this author name came across two other author profiles that need correcting to goodreads policy -- S. Fowler Wright, and S. Fowler Daniel S. Fowler.

add the smaswords ebook
but can't use data from bn site, you will need to provide the ISBN.

Debbie's Spurts (D.A.) | 6325 comments The bnid on the nook edition of Fairy Debt, based on EAN taken from url/link, is 2940148557906 and goes in isbn13 field.

(publicly viewable links are acceptable data sources although the Barnes and Noble site itself and book pages there cannot be used by goodreads).

To read another site's link (usually from author page or post) to Barnes and Noble, the bnid is the EAN part in boldface below (I added stray spaces so link text would show; and ebook format, nook editions, always starts with 294; if starts with 978 it's just a plain ebook format for sell at multiple booksellers that Barnes and Noble also sells for nook but is not a nook edition):
http :// www. barnesandnoble.com /w/fairy-debt-gail-carriger/1116887737? ean=2940148557906
Bookcovers cannot come from Barnes and Noble site nor other data; but, can be supplied by publisher, author or a reader who has the book. If exact same bookcover as another edition, sometimes that's the quickest, easiest way for them to say it. If no description typed into Barnes and Noble nook edition, it will just use the default description so it's usually just publisher date, publisher, a bookcover unique to Barnes and Noble, or if page numbers are continuous or a fixed format number of pages -- none of which required to create a nook edition (all of which helpful if author, publisher or member with the book can provide).

Barry | 113 comments To be honest, I can't figure out what to do to help you. I keep hoping someone else will jump in and do the adding. :)

Z-squared | 8576 comments I added the nook edition, although I didn't add publication date, bookcover, or a description because that info would be outside the publicly viewable link. If someone can confirm that info for me, then I (or some other librarian) can update that info.

Debbie's Spurts (D.A.) | 6325 comments I have the nook edition. I'm just in process of redoing my shelving and was waiting for books to be combined to avoid having to clean up duplicates and because in light of new site announcement I need to clean up some shelves.

I was also slowly adding the new publisher Baen reissues of some long out of print sf classics that I no longer have time to do. I posted the link to Ron Miller's stuff on the publisher's website (it's still on a post by Lois McMaster Bujold) for a few days in librarians group, no one acted on, so I deleted and just decided to add the books myself because my real life bookclub gave me a huge Barnes and Noble gift certificate (most of us had birthdays the same month so we spread them out) and I am in process of purchasing.

I am not going to have time to finish adding, so y'all can do with the information what you will. I was just trying to help and thought data from books you actually owned and had a copy of, even ebooks, were acceptable data sources.

There was only one book linked to the "Mrs..." profile, which I manually changed to Amy McClung and combined with the other editions. Autosweep will eventually get rid of the empty "Mrs..." profile.

Richard (zeppo007) | 15 comments Please combine the Audio book of Happy Hour in Hell http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/18... with the other editions www.goodreads.com/book/show/13519596-...

Is there a way to do this when you are creating a new edition so it automatically adds it to the other listing? I clicked the "Add new edition" link and it created a new entry.

❄️ Propertea Of Frostea ❄️ Bitter SnoBerry ❄ (berrynumey) | 848 comments #13 combined, and no it only adds a new edition uncombined.
