Something Old, Something New discussion

I was naughty and started reading this early and I managed to finish it last night.
I have to say that I really wasn't into this book at all for the first half but then it really seemed to pick up from there and the twist at the end was not expected.
The writing was very slow and steady which seemed to work really well in building up the suspense.
