Heh heh. Well, I was just being facetious; (but nevertheless yes I think when I look over my bookshelves I don't often see authors with that name).
It's not really his name I take any issue with (even jokingly). He's simply 'too recent an author' to be on my radar screen. I like tried-and-proven masters of the craft. I also like plots without computers featured as elements of the story.
I hadn't considered the aspect of his (or any author's) patriotism. Is that a pressing concern in thrillerdom, these days?

One of my first books to download was the 3rd Scot Harvath thriller:

Yesterday I ordered the:

I am catching up on my Scot Harvath thrillers. I enjoy this service. If you join up (and can quit at any time), contact me and I have a special URL number. This way you get one FREE month (after you pay for a month) and I get one FREE month. Then you can go after other recruits. They are a small service, but I have books lined up for the next year easy. I think I am going to jump on that 3rd Brad Thor collection. Can't beat that price.
I only order books that I can't get cheaper anywhere else. But so far I have not had any problems finding deals like Art of War or the Collections. I discovered a new action thriller author I like as well: Simon Kernick, author of

Same here, i have Amazon Prime as well. But i use Entitle to get books I can't get at my digital library or Prime. At times i check at all 3 places: library, Amazon, and Entitle. Still, i picked up the 3rd Brad Thor collection as well. six brad thor thrillers for $9.99 total.

Uh, this UN plot to take over the USA is an old scarecrow that has been used for decades by militia groups, gun nuts, survivalists and right wing extremists to justify their agendas and actions. Anyone thinking for a second can see that the UN couldn't fight its way out of a paper bag, much less be able to take over the USA. This CODE OF CONDUCT book sounds like a non-starter to me.

I couldn't agree more :)

Agreed. Speaking of Mr Flynn, book 14 of the Mitch Rapp series now has a description and UK/International cover art. Direct sequel to the events of book 13. Focuses on the timeless nightmare for intelligence services, namely the fear of their network lists getting leaked.

Elevator pitch goes like this. You have an special operation team in a safehouse on the border with Jordan. The team is targeting the director of media for Daesh. There is also a team of analysts and a bigwig in the vicinity. Suddenly the staging ground is attacked, the special operations team is slaughtered, the analysts are taken hostage and the bigwig is missing.
Scott Harvath, the man who gathered the intelligence for the busted operation launches an investigation with his neck on the block. He discovers a foreign power seeking to use the event to advance their own agenda and begins his hunt for the foreign agent responsible.
