Challenge # 15: Oct 1, 2013 to Dec 31, 2013

All formats are accepted (print, ebooks, audiobooks). Rereads are fine as long as you actually reread the entire book and not just skim it.

Feel free to change your list at any time as needed.

Please note that the Optional Book categories are just that. Optional. You may choose to do none of them or all of them depending on how big of a challenge you want.

Let’s explore our Goodreads ‘to-read’ bookshelf and see if we can clear a few books off of it!! If you have a specific shelf you’d like to use instead of your entire ‘to-read’ shelf, go right ahead.
5. Got to your ‘to-read’ shelf and sort by ‘date added’, oldest to newest. Select one book from the first fifty that you added. (at the bottom of the page, you can reset the display to show 50 books rather than 30 to make this easier)
6. Now reverse the sort to newest to oldest, and select a book from the most recent fifty that you’ve added to your shelf.

Hrm... I figured out how to add "num pages" to my to-read list, but cannot figure out how to sort by that column. Can anyone offer advice? Thanks!

I'm having the same problem with the average rating column

just noticed I'm getting this error when I try: Please note, certain sorting options are temporarily disabled.

Once you've added the sort function you're interested in, click the bolded heading and it will sort by that option.

That said, GRs has been glitching with sorting all day : / It might be the site and not something you're doing.

Is the sorting working today? I just tried it and it's letting me sort my shelf, but I know GR can be fickle sometimes.

Hi everyone! I'm new to this group, and to the site in general, but I love doing reading challenges so hopefully nobody will mind if I jump in here. My to-read shelf is pretty small at this point so I limited myself to 10 choices for each category instead of 50.

I enjoyed it. I have had the series on my to read list for quite some time and I am looking forward to reading more of it. I'm sort of just treading water at the moment book-wise to see what the next challenge is and what I can fit in where, but I imagine I will be reading
Agents of Light and Darkness soon.

That was a lot of fun and I 'found' a couple of authors that I now really like and can't wait to read more of their books. I saved the one I had highest expectations for to be the last and I'm glad I did because now I'm all excited to read the rest of the Joe Pitt series by Charlie Huston. Yea! There's nothing quite like diving into what just may be a new favorite series.
