This is what I plan to read so far. I'll add to it later.
Books to read:
Dragons of the Dwarven Depths

Kissed A Sad Goodbye - Task 3

I've already started on these books since they are pretty long

Audiobook is 12 cds
AND

AND

I think others have said they would read task 3 books as well.

Task 1 - Sheila
Task 2 - Jackie and Sheila
Task 3 - Jackie, Don and Sheila
Task 4 - ????
Task 5 - ????
I've got my 3 books well under way and unless life gets in the way hope to finish all three tomorrow. Then I will work on some task 4 or 5 books. I am in 3 other big challenges that will determine what I read from then on. I absolutely have to learn how to say NO to these reading challenges.
Everyone have a great Thursday.

Example for posting books for Event 1 - Reading Like a Banshee
Update 10/6: 750 pages total
Blood Rights by Kristen Painter: 150 pgs on 10/4, finished 250 pgs on 10/6
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies by Seth Grahame-Smith: 100 pgs on 10/4, 150 pgs on 10/5, finished 100 pgs on 10/6
Update 10/8: 500 pgs total
Flesh and Blood by Kristen Painter: finished 400 pgs on 10/7
Scarlet by Marissa Meyer: 100 pgs on 10/8
Example for posting books for Event 2 - Halloween Book Hunt
Task #- theme: Phantoms by Dean Koontz, finished 10/4
Task #- theme: World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War by Max Brooks, finished 10/8
Also, as the mods posted in the regular thread, speed of reading is no longer an issue for part 2. The books can be read and posted anytime during Read-a-Thon, I just have to post the tasks in order.
Only 1 more day before the challenge starts!

For audiobooks, tell me how much of the audiobook was listened to. For example, listened to 3 hrs of 12 hr book. This is the best way since the book usually says how long it is. If you can't find that, then number of cds listened to out of the total number of cds. I have found that the book is usually split up pretty evenly on all CDs.
For large print, tell me the number of pages read and the total pages in the book. For example, read 100 of 650 pgs.
For kindle give me percent read.
With that I should be able to figure out pages to be counted from the percentages. With entire books read, I just have to find the corresponding regular print version and use their page counts. Shouldn't be too difficult.
Does this help? Or do you want to know how I find percentages too?

I listened to the 12th cd out of 12 to finish this book for Task 1 - Theme #2:Masters of Horror and Fantastic
AND
I read the last 90 pages of the large print edition (691 pages) to finish

For Task 2 - Theme #9:Halloween Cover Hunt (black and orange cover)
AND

Read the last 11% of the Kindle book to finish this book for Task 3 - Theme #5:Face your Fears (**) - (multiple murders)
AND
