I despised this book wIth raw passion! I mean how could a book go from interesting to downright kill me now! Ugh and harper omg! I wanted to hang her, reach into the book, grab her little neck and crumble it until nothing was left! And when Chased died!? I mean, like, SERIOUSLY?!?! What was that about and it took her All of TWO MONTHS to just get back on the pony and ride Brandon into the sunset . Just horrible times infinity

This book is the definition of frustration! It really didn't make sense to that Chase's family encourage Harper to date Brandon pretty early after Chases death. Plus the fact that Chases and Brandon family could be friends and act like Harper totally did not just cheat and then get pregnant. I just didn't really think that was realistic.
I hated it so so much! I didn't finish it. I spend like a hole week angry because of this book.
SO F@CK UP
SO F@CK UP
Every time I see this book in a store, I fight the desire to hide it so no one else will suffer like I have. Instead, I just glare.
This book and I had a love/hate relationship. On one hand I could not put it down and have potentially thought of rereading it but I hated harper at times and how she strung both men on. I loved chase and hated how there relationship ended!! In the end I thought the book a pretty good read.
OH OH I THINK IT'S A FUCK UP! ME! OVER HERE! harper is soooooooo idiotic. She ois a total bitch and thinks she is so awesome.
I thought this book was great. Just like life things don't always turn out how you want them to. This story made me smile, laugh, and cry my eyes out. It sucked to see a character that i felt for die, but that made the book so much more memorable and i loved every word of it.
Thats just my take on it....

I'm with you on this. I hated this book soooo MUCH! I DNF-it's the only book I can't make myself finish. I created a DNF self for it, its the only one in that shelf. I have read other books that aren't that great but they aren't terrible so I finish them.
So it goes without saying that it was that bad!

i absolutely hated this book! I mean come on he dies? Chase was the only character that i could tolerate, and he dies?! & he wasn't even cheating?! Then she gets back with Brandon like two seconds later, while being pregnant with Chase's baby.
Am i the only one that thought maybe Molly McAdams focused too much on the appearances? Meaning i don't think i knew anything about the characters other than they all loved Harper and Harper was a whiny baby. That's another thing, everyone loved Harper so much, but why? ugh i don't know this book was just upsetting and really just so dumb.

Short answer to the question in the name of this thread?
You are not.
God, what a complete waste of time. I could've tolerated about anything (After all, I did manage to at least start the second Thoughtless book *shudders*) But why did she do that? Why kill Chase off? At the top of my head, I can think of at least ten other ways to remove him from the picture. Why end his life? Just no.
And that's not even counting Harper's overall stupidity.

I just realised I wasted 4 hours of my life reading this book, 4 hours I can never get back.
I hated this book so much, the chick was slut, the reason why the other girl did what she did was so stupid it didnt make sense, there was no valid reason for why she did it, after chase died i couldnt finish, i found what happened on goodreads this book was beyond terrible.
I read this when it came out and I have no words for how I felt, how I still feel. Ever since I've read this, I feel like my author/reader trust has been broken and that someone else is going to come along and pull a Molly McAdams and kill off the character I really love. I have irrational fears to some books, and sometimes have to skip to the end to make sure nothing fucked up happens. No lie, this book still gets to me. I don't care that Harper was whiny and all of the nonsense that went along with this book, I care that Molly McAdams would have no qualms about publishing this book as is. She had to know that killing Chase was NEVER going to go over well with anyone, and that no readers would be happy about her ending up with Brandon. So what would possess someone to write that twist and then end it that way? I just feel like this wasn't done for a "Oh man, that was a crazy twist." I feel like this was a cruel, selfish thing to do.
I got to a point where I couldn't even finish the book. I had to skim over the second half just to see what happens. No one has mentioned the writing style yet, which is what I found horrifying. Nothing was elaborated and each scene lasted a page or two.
The plot was also scary....

This book is so messed up.I gave this 3 stars, just because it was the first love triangle I have ever read, and only for the fact that the plot was kinda interesting. Our main character,Harper,is acting like a 12 years old girl, she cannot decide what she wants!(Come on girl, really?!)Overall,if the characters were better developed, and if it was not so bad written,it would be a nice book to put your hands on.

I read this book, and I became extremely DEPRESSED. I love reading a book that gets me involved so much that I feel like I'm experiencing what they are. Except this book did that and I hated it. Literally I cried after I read about the wreck, pitch a fit, then collapsed saying I would never finish this book. I did finish it because I needed to see what happened. I was so angry, I swore I would not read Stealing Harper and I haven't. I feel like after I do I would probably personally write the author and ask her what the hell she was thinking publishing this book. It has been so long since I read this book, but all my anger is coming back now.

I was SO upset that chase died and then harper married Brandon!!!!!! I was going to read stealing harper after it and then I got to the end and was like " forget this!!!" especially did not want to read how chase died ugh
I liked Chase and think Harper should have had more faith in him. Why would he send you a text meet him to be caught up. Or send pictures that was just dumb.
I just beat the shit out of my pillow over this book what the hell!!!!!! I wanted to reach into this book and slap the shit out of harper.... rawrrrr
i honestly felt so fcking distressed and just disgusted by everything! i needed a support group after reading it. srsly
Agreed. Couldn't believe a family would be okay hook up with another guy straight after their son died. Also Harper was annoying and didn't seem cut out to be a mum especially as she couldn't make her mind up over her boyfriends
AGREED! BUT I WAS IN LOVE WITH THE BOOK AT THE SAME TIME. I AM TORN ON MY OPINION.
This book? I called bullshit the whole way through. It was even worse of an accident that what initially happened to Chase. How dumb can you be to think he actually cheated when the girl is CLEARLY holding the phone in the pictures. And you KNOW she doesn't like you. Nothing screams 'set up' to you? Come on! Then you run off with Brandon?
The answer to your following question:
Am I the only one who think that this book is total FUCK UP????????
Is simply NO. you are not alone . If you just read the reviews for the book you will find hundreds of readers ranting about how dumb at times and awful it was

I seriously hated this book... with a passion!
She was so fucking annoying, I literally wanted to jump into the book and castrate her!
I was thinking she would pick Chase (I loved him so much) but nope.
I put it down halfway through the book when the shittiest thing happened. During that shittiest thing and even though she was carrying his child, she didn't even seem to give a fuck that he just died.
By that time I didn't even give a fuck if she got with the other dude or not, I just had enough.

Thank you! The only emotional response I had toward this book was absolute frustration. I mean the girl was a whiny brat who couldn't make up her mind. One minute she swore she'd never love anyone but Chase, and the second he dies, she finds someone else to fawn over her. It was all over the place.
No, me too. I finished it but I hated every moment of it, I couldn't believe Chase died and a few moments after his death, the main character was dating other guy, and the family? man, the family persuade her to date other guy.
No I honestly hated it.....I just couldn't get around the fact that everyone was just fine months after the death. The main character I found to be too whiny and annoying.
I literally threw my Kindle when I read this book. I was so disappointed when Chase had his accident, but it was like a train wreck, I just couldn't put it down. But all in all, I do not fault the author. She did exactly what she set out to do, get people talking about her book and throw the reader for a loop like no other author has! I respect her for that.

I really hated it. Just about every story line had me shaking my head.. I just think the author thinks females are dumb-because how could your write a story about a girl that acts so stupid 100% of the time.
