The day colossal decides to attack (so the every beginning) but with our theme or twist to it.
Matt watched as a giant titan looked over wall maria.
Humanity's defense against Titans is a full-time, professional army trained to deal with Titans. The military is divided into three squads: the Scouting Legion, who explore outside human territory in a bid for expansion and lately got a new mission from the Capital to do researches about Titans and where they originate from , the Stationary Guard, who patrol and maintain the Walls keeping Titans out and are the first to engage the Titans if the gate is destroyed, and the Military Police, the top-ranking soldiers who serve as the personal guard for the king and maintain order within the Walls.
Ryboy grimaced at the Colossal Titan as he thought about how much carnage it would cause for this city. Even though he was very bad at using 3D Maneuver Gear, he tried to swing at the Colossal Titan. He failed and slammed right into Wall Maria, only hurting himself, not damaging Wall Maria in any way.
Rosalinde had just put down the pot of boiling water and potatoes, and was about to call for her adoptive mother when there was a thunderous sound from outside. Everything began to shake rigorously, causing her to fall to the ground, almost getting hit by the items falling off the counter. Not even seconds later a large chunk of rock the size of cattle crashed through the roof, the force knocking her temporarily unconscious. She felt herself being shaken, but all Rosalinde could hear was the ringing in her ears. She opened her eyes to see Bella, the nice old lady who had taken her into her home. She seemed to be saying something, and her face was one of horror and regret. Suddenly, there was an excruciating pain on the inside of her right forearm, and she let out a scream of pain. Trying to sit up, she got a look at her arm, seeing a large gash with blood spurting out, and a chunk of wooden debris covered in the red substance. Finally regaining her hearing, her vision became clouded as the old woman began to speak. "I'm sorry sweetheart, but I couldn't have left it in without causing permanent damage. Now get up, we must get to the boats." After having the wound wrapped they exited the house, or, what was left of it, and began to hurry their way to the direction of the gate.
Thud
A large foot stepped onto the street, and a body followed it. "Titans are in the city...." Rosalinde began to tremble with fear, but Bella was surprisingly calm. "Dear, I want you to listen to me, okay? Run as fast as you can until you get to the gate." She looked absolutely horrified. "And do what? Leave you behind?! I can't do that!" "You know that I cannot out run a titan dear. I'm much too old now, and you are so young, you have so much to live for, so go. Please do this for me." Tears streamed down her eyes, but Bella just squeezed her hand before turning towards the oncoming titan, its smile striking fear into Rosalinde's heart. Instincts took over and she began to run down the street, getting to a side road and just barely looking back to see the old woman mere feet from the titan's mouth. She was smiling. It was gone though, when her head was bitten off, blood covering that THING'S mouth and chest, before it swallowed the rest of her body. And then she ran, as fast as she could, almost to the point of passing out when she was herded through the gate with the last of the refugees.
Pandora yawned, getting tired of walking around all day with her two older brothers. "When are we going home?" She asked.
"Soon," Her oldest brother, Josh, replied.
"When is soon?"
This time her younger older brother, Ricky, answered. "A couple of minutes."
Satisfied with their answers she walked beside them. They were very tall. Josh was 6'0 and Ricky was 5'11. Only thirteen at this time, Pandora was 4'9. Josh was 19 and Ricky was 16. That made them all 3 years apart. All of a sudden, there was hollering and gasps.
"What is it?" Pandora asked. Her voice was a whisper. She couldn't see above Her brother's heads and many other people's. There was dead silence from her brother. Everything felt like slow motion when debris crushed the people in front of her older siblings. She managed a loud scream of terror as the impact in front of them flung the three into a house's wall. Her leg was impaled by a sharp piece of wood. From blood loss and the force of hitting the building, her vision blurred and she saw an older man scoop her up, helping her brothers too. Then it went black. She couldn't hear anything. She couldn't feel anything. She was unconscious. That was a good thing. If she could see right then, she'd see horrifying titans eating innocent kind people. If she could hear right then, she'd hear screams of people being eaten, people crying over their loved ones, and the loud steps of titans. If she could feel right then, she'd feel the aching of her body being flung into a hard wall and the pain of her impaled leg. Pandora didn't want any of that.
What a horrible birthday.
After hearing Ryboy slam into Wall Maria, Titans start to surround him. "Ngh... Now what do I do?" Ryboy said as one of the Titans went to grab him. Then Ryboy quickly hooked his Maneuver Gear between the legs of a Titan, and unleashed the gas as he dashes forward sliding under the Titans and starts flying towards another Titan unknowing of Ryboy's presence flying towards him like a missile. Ryboy started spinning like a top heading for the Titan wth swords in front. He successfully stabbed the Titan in the back of the neck and it fell to it's death. "I guess I could use that tactic from now on." Ryboy said as he hooked two nearby buildings, dashed, and jumped really far back to the Training Base.
Once as many refugees possible were shoved onto the boats, they began to lift the walkways, and people screamed to be let on. The adrenaline had begun to wear off and Rosalinde's arm felt inflamed and throbbing, but that wasn't the reason her hands were shaking. The image of the old woman's blood over the titan's body and ground had left her mentally scarred. Trying to focus on something else, she put one hand over the other and looked around at all the other refugees. Many were scared and frightened, and others had blank faces, probably the people who saw close friends or family eaten. Then there was a girl, who looked unconscious, so she moved nimbly through the crowd to take a place beside her. Rosalinde looked to the man, as well as two younger fellows who she assumed had come on board with the girl. "Is she okay?"
Ryboy dashed in front the boat that the refugees were on and hooked the 3D Maneuver Gear to the hull. "Everybody seated? This is gonna be a bumpy ride!" Ryboy yelled as he released the gas and dashed behind the next Wall so the Titans wouldn't get the refugees.
The old man shook his head, no. "Her leg, look." He pointed at Pandora's thin, bloody leg with sharp wood through it. Josh's eyes widened. "I think it's about time we removed it..," He said, scratching the back of his head. "Me and Ricky will hold her leg down while you pull it out, okay? Oh, and kid, if I were you, I'd look away," Josh told Rosalinde as he placed his hand on Pandora's leg and so did Ricky. The old man gripped the wood and pulled it out forcefully. There was a loud scream from the her, her eyes opening up with tears of pain. The scream caught many people's attention but they soon looked away. Ricky took off his over-sized brown jacket, ripping off a sleeve to wrap around Pandora's leg. She wiped her tears from her large green eyes. She looked at Rosalinde. "Oh, h-hi!" She spoke quickly. "I'm Pandora... d-did my brothers introduce myself for you o-or something..?" She was confused on when the other girl got here and where her father was. He was probably getting help or something.
As Ryboy is pulling the boat further into he city, he closes his eyes and the camera pans past a building and Ryboy is a bit older, and dashing to the Training Base to meet his new trainees. (I hope that I get competent ones this year.) He thought to himself.

Turning to face the girl again, she looked down at her own arm quickly and then giggled. "Look at that, we both have our own battle wounds, I guess you would say..." Looking towards her brothers and the man, she turned her body slightly and faced Pandora. Lifting up her wounded arm, she winced, but held her hand out for the younger girl. "Girls like us need to stick together right?" Even with all that had happened, she still managed to smile. 'Be strong...'(' means thoughts for me, just to clarify :) )
"Battle w-wounds makes us sound t-tough!" Pandora smiled through the pain of her leg. She noticed how painful it was for Rosalinde to move her arm, put quickly shook her hand, still smiling. "Yeah," She replied. It was true. Pandora turned to Ricky and took his jacket from him. She turned back to Rosalinde. "But these battle wounds n-need to heal." She ripped off Ricky's remaining sleeve, her nose scrunched up as she tried her best to rip it. Finally it came off and she wrapped the sleeve of the jacket around Rosalinde's arm. "Um, sorry to break the moment," There was a gruff voice, the old man's. Pandora realized who it was. It was her father's old friend, Herbert.
"No, it's f-fine," Pandora said.
"I've got important news to share with the Naomi's, but it can wait until later."
Pandora looked at Rosalinde with a shrug. "He probably j-just got me something f-for my birthday," She whispered to her with a closed eyed smile.
"Caz, eat your bread. You know we can't afford it to throw it away," his mother said, almost yelling. His older brother, Gerd, giggled. He always did when people talked to Caz. He glanced at Caz, who stared back at him. "People like you should stay away from the army," Gerd whispered in Caz' left ear. Caz didn't hear what his brother said, as he is deaf on his left. He looked away and continued eating. His younger brother and sister were playing somewhere outside, close to the house. They were playing soldier and titan, with the sister playing the titan. "Ziva, Seth! Stop that game, right now!" the mother yelled. "You shouldn't be thinking about such stuff at your age! Every single one of you shall stay away from the army and live in safety, so stop your foolish games!" Gerd had joined Ziva and Seth, playing catch. Caz could hear the voices outside and smiled. He liked it when his younger siblings were happy, especially with the dangers of starvation, diseases and titans surounding them.
Caz dropped a plate as the house studdenly started trembling. This didn't feel like an earthquake. "TITANS! THEY'RE INSIDE THE WALL!" a voice yelled, followed by screams and cries. Caz's mother ran inside. "Hide in the cupboard! We will meet after the attack! I promise, my son!" Without hestitation, the woman locked him in a cupboard. "NO!" Caz wanted to open the closet, but at that moment a titan smashed the roof of the house with one hand. It held Caz's father in its other hand and swallowed him. Caz kept smashing the door, hearing his mother's screams fade away into the growls of the titan. "MOTHER!" Caz gave another hit against the door and broke it. He crawled out, seeing Ziva in a corner of what once was a room. "ZIVA! RUN!" Caz screamed. He wanted to save her, but she was too far away and the titan had already reached for her. "CAZ! FIND SETH!" she yelled before being devoured.
Seeing his family being eaten by this titan made Caz angry. He wanted to see it getting killed, so he decided to follow it.
A soldier from the Military Police stopped him right away. "Are you crazy, kid? Just leave it, you can't bring back your family," he said. "But I can still save my girlfriend," Caz exclaimed. His heart thumped inside his chest as he saw a titan attacking her house. It was the same Military Police-guy who pulled Caz away when Sarah got her head ripped off by the titan. "STUPID TITANS!" Caz shrieked, hitting the officer with tears in his eyes. "I WILL EXTERMINATE THEM!" The officer laughed. "Good luck, kid. You won't last a minute!" he said before running back off into battle.
((wow, didn't expect it to be THAT long...wrote it on my phone -_-))
(I guess.) "Thanks Pixis. I better be going. I need to see my new cadets." Ryboy said as he dashed off again.
As Ryboy arrived to the training grounds, one of his cadets shouted all the way from the back: "YOU'RE LATE!" Ryboy turned in the cadet's direction exactly and had an evil look on his face. (H-How did he do that?!) the cadet thought to himself. "Anyway, in these next few years, I'm sure you've heard of Squad 104's commander." Most of the cadets shuddered. "Well I'm mostly nothing like him!" The cadets sighed in relief. "So I bet you're glad you got me huh? So lets start training! The first step is mastering 3D Maneuver Gear." Then the same cadet shouted again: "But you haven't mastered it yet at all!" Ryboy shot him another evil look. "Anyway, who's going first?"
It had been three years since the attack on Shinganshina, and Rosalinde stood in line with all the other cadets, saluting their new commanding officer. She was able to join the military a year after the attack, but didn't for the sake of leaving her friend behind. That is why when Pandora reached the right age, they joined together, both making a promise to protect the each other. She had become the little sister Rosalinde never had, which is why she proudly looked at Pandora, saluting perfectly beside her. Her attention was forced back to the front when a cadet shouted at their commander. After telling them they would start with 3DMG training, he asked for a someone to start them off. Seeing that no one else was stepping forward, she moved out of line, raising her hand. "I-i will...sir!" Scarlet brushed her cheeks as trainees began to glance at her, and she felt uncomfortable under their stares.
"Claire go get your sister and tell her to come inside." said Claire's mother. Claire got up and ran outside, he saw his twin sister frozen looking horrified in the sky. He looked up and saw a 15-meter smiling titan. "Claira RUN!" The titan reached for her, but she was a tad out of reach. Claire pulled out a dagger and just as the titan reached for him he cut it's finger off. Their mother rushed out and pushed the inside. She shoved them into a large trunk. "Mom what's going on?" asked Claire. She had tears running down her face and kissed both of them. "You two stick together no matter what okay. Promise me this." she said. She closed the trunk and pushed it out of the house. A titan stepped on her crushing all her bones. "I love you." she said as the titan ate her. Claire watched through the key hold and kicked around trying to open the trunk. He started screaming and kept trying to kick the trunk open but it wouldn't budge. "Claire calm down." said Claira. "CALM DOWN! How am I supposed to calm down after I just watched my mother die?" Claira started shedding tears too. "She was my mother too, you think I don't want to save her. Claire we have to be strong no matter what. Mom told us to stick together no matter what and to do this we have to be strong." said Claira. Claire hugged her. "Okay." he said. "Claira, I think the key mom gave you around your neck is the one to open this trunk. Lets try it." Claira nodded and put the key inside the key-hole. It opened! Claire got out and saw the titan that killed their mother eating a man. His eyes turned red and his teeth became sharper. "Claire remember we have to be strong." Claire regained his humanity and nodded. They turned around and ran. They were knocked over by other people trying to get out. The titans were on their tail. Just then the Garrison Squad saved them. Captain Hannes picked them up and carried them away. "I WILL KILL ALL TITANS, I WILL TEAR THEM TO SHREDS AND...EAT THEM!" screamed Claire.
Pandora stared straight ahead, then at her commander. Her heart beat raced nervously. Her arms trembled but she kept in a salute, sweating. As long as she stuck with Roselinde she'd be fine. She repeated this in her head, eyes squeezed shut until she snapped them open when the commander spoke. Then Rosalinde volunteered to go first. Pandora mouthed, "Goodluck," to Rosalinde with a quick smile. She felt nervous for Rosalinde, since 3DMG was the gear people used to escape from titans.. they looked pretty hard to master. She fidgeted uncomfortably in between people.
Claire and Claira woke up in a training base. "Claira we are really in the Survey Corps." said Claire excitedly. "Uhh no you're not this is training for strong people who are strong enough to stay, and by your looks you won't even last a day." said a man. He chuckled and walked away. Claire got up and clenched his fists. "Claire calm down." Claira grabbed Claire's hand. "Lets go look for somebody to show us around this place.
Caz woke up, noticing it was too quiet around him. He used to wake up surrounded by voices, but they were all gone. He rubbed his head in confusion while yawning. Now he remembered. "Damn!" He jumps on his feet and put on his clothes as soon as possible, hoping he won't be late for today's training. "I'm so dead right now, so dead and not even by a Titan!" he said to himself. As quickly as he could, Caz rushed towards his training squad. His heart was thumping, because he heard the most horrible things about one of the squad commanders. "Please, not squad 104," he whispered right before he arrived. Caz joined at the back and tried to control his breathing, hoping the commander who was being yelled at by a cadet in the front wouldn't notice him.
Mouthing a quick thank you back to Pandora, she made her way to the front and stood before the instructor. Saluting him, she stood straight and looked up towards him. "S-sir! Shall we be starting with balancing? Or will we go straight into 3D gear training?" She scolded herself inwardly for her stuttering, still feeling people stare at her.
"We shall start with simple balancing. Are you ready?" Ryboy replied as he took off his Maneuver Gear and set it up for balancing.
"Yes sir!" After being hooked up, another cadet was ordered to raise the ropes. Relaxing her entire body, she spread her legs apart slightly and put out her arms. Closing her eyes, she smiled at the feeling being in the air gave her, so she moved her body back a bit and opened her eyes to look up at the sky. Forgetting she was being tested, she immediately straightened herself back to her normal position, successfully staying very still. "Umm...sorry about that...sir..." The embarrassment of being seen as so ignorant to her surroundings made her cheeks crimson once again.
"It's OK. I used to relax the first time I used the Maneuver Gear. So we can relate." Ryboy told Rosalinde as he flashed her a smile. Then the obnoxious cadet whispered to Caz: "Those two lovebirds should get a room." He snickered. "Something funny back there?" Ryboy asked the cadet. He immediately saluted. "NOTHING SIR!"
Caz only heard half of what he said. He had a confused look on his face as the commander yelled at one of them. He followed the cadet and saluted, trying to hold back a cough. -What's going on? Did he see me joining in later?- Caz thought.
"OK, Rosalinde, you've proven you have the hang of Maneuver Gear. You can come down now." Ryboy informed Rosalinde.
Claire and Claira walked around the camp looking for information. A young man walked up to them. "Hey, I'm Tom. I'm new here. Can you show me around?" "Uhh... actually we are new here too." said Claira. "Oh well let's stick together." They walked until they saw Ryboy and working with another cadet. Claire went over to talk to Ryboy for training, while Tom and Claira stood behind.
Ryboy turned around as he was letting Rosalinde down from the air. "Oh, and who might you be?" He asked as he unhooked the Gear from Rosalinde.
"Oh I'm Claire and I'm looking for where to start training. You are Captain Ryboy, I have heard much about you." (Claire salutes Ryboy)
Walking back to where she stood before, she flashed Pandora a smile and patted her on the shoulder. "it's actually fairly simple, I think you'll get the hang of it." Getting into formation she watched as numerous cadets began to test their luck with the balancing technique, while the instructor talked to a few people.
Ryboy salutes back. "Thank you. I didn't know I was THAT well known inside Wall Rose." Ryboy said with a happy look on his face. The obnoxious cadet whispered to Caz again: "Sheesh, this guy is hitting on SO many girls at once, it's terrifying!"
(Claire whipped around as he clenched his fists.) "I'm a boy you goddam idiot!" he yelled. Claire walked up to Caz. "Your friend here is a smart-ass hmm. Well at least you got some respect. I'm cool with you. He walked back over to Captain Ryboy. His twin sister, Claira walked behind him. "Captain shall we begin training." he said.
Caz turned his head. "Could you stop whispering? I can't hear half of what you're saying," he asked with a soft voice, staring at his own feet. There was an ant crawling around in circles over his boot.
The obnoxious cadet fainted in shock as Ryboy looked at Claire with his jaw dropped all the way to the ground. "Remind me never to make you mad." He said.
After the most recent cadet flopped face first in the balancing technique, Ryboy began setting Claire up for balancing. "All right, you're all set buddy. Just strap in when you're ready."
As Ryboy walked up to Pandora, he said: "Listen, I know you might think you're bad at using the Gear, but once I did it, I got the hang of it. Kinda. Anyway, you can go after Claire finishes."
Pandora smiled at Rosalinde, giving her a thumbs up. "You did great!" She bumped her lightly with her shoulder. She whispered this to her, hoping not to be heard.

Caz looked down at the guy who fainted. He hesitated before he knelt down next to him, not sure if he would get yelled at once again. Caz softly patted the guy's cheek.
"Hey, is that guy OK? Send him to the medical corps." Ryboy told his assistants. They took the cadet to the infirmary. "So Claire, you gonna start the test?"
"Uhh yea...I mean yes sir." (Claire strapped himself up in the gear) "Okay how does this work?"
-Just don't fall on your face- Caz thought when he got back up. He watched Claire getting ready. Caz walked closer and stood on Claira's left side. "So he's your brother?" Caz asked. "I'll think he'll do fine...using the gear, I mean." Caz didn't really look at her.
