The House of Hades question

I cannot stand Leo and Calypso's relationship, especially in Trials of Apollo. It doesn't feel natural to me. I'm kinda biased though because I haven't actively read enough of Trials of Apollo but honestly I just feel like the dynamic between Leo and Reyna would've been more interesting. Perhaps not romantically, although I don't see how Calypso deserves that spot either.

I never saw Leyna as a potential ship...they just don't seem to fit well together in my opinion.

I have to say, I was very surprised about Leo and Calypso having... well, that relationship. I was definitely shipping Leyna. And, call me crazy, but I think that Palyso (I just made that up, Percy and Calypso) belong together more than Leo + Calypso.

I like Leo and Calypso

I am sort of surprised that anyone would think Reyna and Leo would fit together. Reyna is much like Jason except that while Jason is more Greek at heart, Reyna embraces Rome. But she will always put the group first. In a way, I think she's a lot like Annabeth. They're both really smart, and they prefer not to rush into a fight with a plan (which they can conjure up before Leo can summon a screwdriver from his tool belt, LOL!). Reyna is totally responsible, and even though she often wishes she isn't, I think she is one of those people wouldn't be the same if she didn't have a job like that. She's a born leader. Leo, meanwhile, loves fooling around, making dumb (and often inappropriate) jokes, and annoying people. Reyna would probably stab him, let her dogs eat him, or run him over with a truck if they ever hung out alone together for more than an hour, LOL! However, I do think that Calypso is the perfect girl for Leo. And I've always kind of liked the hate-each-other-at-first-but-then-slowly-warm-up kind of romance. Personal preference LOL!

Honestly, I’m fine with both, sometimes, when I’m in a Caleo mood, I ship Caleo, sometimes, I ship Leyna.
Mostly Leyna tho ;).

Reyna and Leo would never work lol it would be terrible!! Leo and Calypso would be cute ;) though in HoH she seemed really out of character, and their relationship was too rushed. I'm kinda angling toward Leo and Rachel!!

See, I don't mind being on board with Caleo/Lypso (whatever ppl same thing) but I think if he was in a similar situation with Reyna, she would have also been annoyed with him at first but eventually would have also fallen for his charm. The relationship development would have pretty much been the same. In a way I wish it would have been Reyna he had met up with because we could have gotten a glimpse of what she went through. I see why it was Calypso but I wasn't too happy.

Idk I think Leo would have helped Reyna loosen up and in turn she would have made him realize his worth. Then the whole parting ways would have been awesome because in my eyes Reyna seems like a stronger female character than Annabeth and Leo would have to accept that she had to go without him on a quest against their own ppl with another guy. Mean while Reyna who is used to taking charge would have to yet again do the dutiful thing. Let's be honest so far there hasn't been much sacrifice in the sense where duty comes before your own feelings not to the extent of Reyna. I get that their pairing would have been cliche but so is falling for a goddess.

I guess I shipped Leyna because it seemed like the most probable pairing (who would have thought Calypso would make another appearance?) but in all honesty so long as the story goes on and characters survive, I'm good.

And yes I did smile at the mention of the shop.

Yeah they are really great together! I hope in the next book they end up together!!!

CALYPSO, DUH.

I adore Leo and Calypso. And we can call them Ceo as well as Caleo:D I think Reyan is a really good girl. But, I don't think that Leo fits her. She is more serious and Leo likes to make fun of everything. I really like Leo and I think Leo deserves a beautiful girl like Calipso plus Calipso likes gardening and etc. So they would be great together. I think Riordan will write a good ending for Reyna. Mybe there is a missing brother of Jason?:D

Caleo, they are just plain cute, it's that simple.

I ship Caleo. Leo deserves a happy ending with a very nice and beautiful girl, and Calypso definitely deserves to get off that island. I hope Leo goes back for her, eventually.

I never shipped Leyna! Reyna really doesn't like Leo and she's a lot more mature than him lol. But I LOVE Caleo! I ship them almost as much as I ship Percabeth:)

Leo and Calypso are supposed to be together and Reyna and Leo have completely different people with different personalities. CALEO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is it weird that I can't ship Caleo no matter how hard I tried?

I am starting to get that ominous feeling, like when Rick is about to throw someone off a cliff. Then again, he certainly dealt with the two boy problem in The Kane Chronicles in a creative (and awesome) way!
