Did Nellie Snyder Yost attempt to take a stance on Annie Cook, or is the book relatively impartial?

Magdalena Vinson | 11 comments I think she's done a fine job so far of staying impartial, although I'm not too far in. It reads more like a history than a personal story, and she's done a solid job so far of providing some internal dialogue to most of the main characters. This book gives me the same feeling that reading "Slaughterhouse Five" gave me: a bit depressed, a bit angry, and a lot "I really don't want to read any further."
