What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

I read this book probably in about 2005ish so we can know for sure it was published before then. It was a multi-part book with at least two separate stories in this one compilation of contemporary Native American romance.

In one of the stories the main female character is a geologist I think and she ends up meeting the main male character while searching for molybdenum on, if I remember correctly, his Apache reservation.

The other story I remember involves a woman journeying to Florida and at some point she hooks up with a half-Cherokee man. I believe there might have been a hurricane in there somewhere but mostly I remember detailed descriptions of the Florida everglades.

Both were contemporary romances. I believe it was a two or three part book but I can only remember two stories. Both stories were focused on Native American romance.

was it a serial romance - like a harlequin or mills/boone?

I don't think it was either honestly. I'm trying to recall some more details about it but I think it was two short novels by the same author in one book.
