Michael Stephenson | 32 comments Hello everyone. I know that this is Summer's group but I feel like since there is such a large community of members here (and I'm sure plenty of other followers of her facebook page) we should have a welcome forum just to introduce ourselves and say hello. Oh, and remember to go and submit your book for the facebook page (if you are an author) here: http://submissions.whattoreadafter50s... .

I'll start. I'm Michael Stephenson. I am an author of many genres and the author of the literary fiction erotica A Negotiation of Wounds (Negotiation Series, #1. I like good story and find that good characters in a good story always make a lasting impression on us more than most other things.

Ivanhoe Jones | 10 comments Hi all,
My name is Ivanhoe Jones and I am the author of The Escort Wife. I decided to write my first novel after over two decades in the clinical health field. My passion is the human spirit and because sexuality is our most intimate area of connection it fascinates me greatly. I have joined this group to become aware of what other authors in this genre are doing, and I would be interested to hear from anyone who likes - like me - the idea of mixing spirituality, human insight and sexuality together into the one book. Hannah Smith | 1 comments Hello All!
My name is Hannah Smith, I live in northern VT, USA. I'm 33 with two beautiful daughters. I'm a work and book-aholic! I just love getting lost in a story! I read almost everything, BDSM, Erotica, Fiction, some NA and YA as long as the reviews are good and i can gather there is a plot... I love great writing and good flow.. I also love to cook, music, dance, history and religious studies although I'm not a partaker. I hated reading as a child and teen and honestly just recently picked it up in 2012.. Since then I have read hundreds of books.. Anyway thats a bit about me... You??

Scot Fin Can "What to read after Fifty Shades of Grey" people help 'Should a guy read Fifty Shades of Grey.'
Hi, I'm Scot Fin.
Not so much an introduction, more so how I got here: I started browsing some discussion groups while doing some research on degrees of sensuality, which led to some eroticism and FSOG. My writing, such as in my first novel of hopefully a series, Ralph and the Girl From Mayfair Towers, includes some sensuality. The question for me is, while my 'Ralph' character is more a good natured guy, can he learn from FSOG? Perhaps browsing some discussions here can help me. Should FSOG be a future read?
Please see me here (Scot Fin) or at http://scotfin.com/.
I look forward to being part of the group.
Thanks.

I will never tell anyone NOT to read FSOG it's a wonderful series. I know you said that Ralph is a good natured guy, it would matter the degree of sensuality you want to bring into your book. In FSOG Christian is haunted by his past thus needs and craves control, no matter the cost. Not knowing the background of your character I can't tell you if FSOG will benefit or not , however the sensual scenes in the book are incredible. The Crossfire series from Sylvia Day may help you as well. It all depends on how much you want to read. Good luck with everything looking forward to reading your book!

message 44: by Scot (new)

Scot Fin Thanks for the feedback Sarah. From your comments, I think if a scene is written incredibly, then another writer can learn from it. Whether it be a good natured character or one deeper, haunted, whatever the degree of sensuality a scene requires, a writer can learn if it is well written and adapt for a specific character. Thanks again as I will keep FSOG in my to-read list.

Hi there I'm JC an English writer of a very spicy Romantic comedy called 'Put downs and Paper Panties'.

Please drop by my Facebook page and throw me a like.
https://www.facebook.com/AuthorJCRich...

The novel will make an ideal summer vacation read and is still cheaper than a coffee from Starbucks.
***
Samantha Loxley is a twenty something, party loving career girl. Sexy and wickedly funny, she is ready to embrace her ‘try anything once’ personality but begins to realize she is getting stuck in a rut at the Advertising Agency.

A chance meeting at the gym with the much older but gorgeous Drew throws a new perspective on her life as he introduces her to places she’s never been, and she realizes that sexuality is far more complicated than she ever thought possible. The guys are gorgeous but then so are the girls, and what is a girl to do.

The deadly Ninja assassin masseuse, ripped paper panties, and stick on bras that don’t stick make for an interesting and hilarious day as she prepares for a big night out. But she will have to stay one step ahead of Marcus, the swarthy executive from the front office who has her picked out as a notch on his hotel bedpost. He discovers that far from being a master of the universe he hasn’t accounted for Samantha’s sharp tongue and her twisted humour as she leads him to the ultimate humiliation.
