When I read a good book, especially when nearing the end of the last book, I want to hurry and see what happened at the end. At the same time, I want to take my time and enjoy the book because it's possibly the last book.
I'm 57% done with Heir of Novron. I really want to see what happens at the end. I think this is the last Riyria book as Handrian and Royce keep talking about retiring (and most likely getting up there in age), so I want to enjoy the book as much as possible.
Sigh. If only Goodreads would let me give more than 5 stars....

I love this series! Have you heard about the prequels The Crown Tower and The Rose and Thorn? They are excellent reads.
Also, Michael J. Sullivan has a new book called Hollow World coming out next year which also an excellent read.

I just finished The Crown Tower and Rose. Both are really very good. Sullivan is a brilliant writer.
