This months BOTM is Vampire Academy!

I love this book!!!

I loved this book <3 it was interesting.

I loved the series, not just the book. xD

I was really surprised with this book. It was better than I anticipated. I was kind of expecting something Twilight-esque, but was pleasantly surprised. The whole series is great.

I'm glad it was different. A lot of Vampire books now-a-days are very similar to Twilight. I like it when the books are completely their own.

I also really like the world that Richelle Mead created. From the types of vampires and the hybrids to the use of their magic and the fact that they don't sparkle. ( I liked Twilight just fine, but the sparkling vampires were kind of lame.) Rose is a great character and her relationship with Dimitri is different from others in the genre.

I did like her relationship with Adrian, though. So, it was kind of hard for me to accept her and Dimitri after what he did to her.

I love Adrian. He has to be one of my all time favorite characters. I didn't think he was a great match for Rose though.
It's kind of sappy, but I love the whole "Love conquers all" thing that Rose and Dimitri have. I'm a sucker for a love story. :)

This series was a lot better than I thoughtd it be! The first book was a lot like Half-Blood though...
As for the characters....I liked Rose in the first 2 or 3 books, but then I got sick of her because she was constantly pining over Dimitri (who I hate). I feel like their relationship moved too fast anyways. Like she sees him as a mentor or guardian or whatever one day, and the next she can't stop thinking about his accent, and suddenly their completely in love *rolls eyes*
I liked Christian Ozera :D And Lissa wasn't bad most of the time.
My favorite characters, though, Is Adrian :D (And he gets eveen better in Bloodlines) At first, I wanted his relationship with Rose to work out because I like him better than Dimitri so I was pretty mad when (view spoiler)[ she cheated on him. I mean we all knew they would end up together, but she shouldn't have cheated regardless. And then she wants to play the crappy "We can still be friends" card -_- (hide spoiler)]

I've been curious about this series for awhile. Might have to start it tonight!

I'm a slow reader too so this might just take me till the end of December..

I loved Adrian and Christian :D

I actually liked the book. I hope the rest of the series picks up a lot. There were some moments where I was just like "eeh".
