This one will be fun and I don't have to keep track of points! :)
Are you doing the Mount TBR challenge again?? I've signed up for fewer books in 2014 but I'm still gonna try it.

I won't be doing that other group again, in fact I already left it. I'm just going to focus on the challenges in this group.

It also seems like a friendly group.

And The Name of the Wind keeps coming up as such a good book that I figured I better get around to reading it. :)

I had a hard time getting to it but I may give it a try again sometime but probably not this coming year.

Do you pick older classics or modern classics Marnie??

What is your January Classic ?

I have The Woman in White as my fifth for the year, I also added it based on a couple friends rec's. And The Fellowship of the Ring is sitting in my list of Chunkster Hopefuls so I might get to it this year sometime too.

I am enjoying them, quite a lot but I always put them off to read something easier and faster. I have 4 favorites from 2013:
War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy
Wives and Daughters by Elizabeth Gaskell
The Moonstone by Wilkie Collins
&
The Portrait of a Lady by Henry James

It took me two months of commuting to get through 60 hours of War & Peace.
