Discuss the book here!
The question to think about is:
At the end of this novel, Alexandra makes the 'ultimate sacrifice'.
But was it a sacrifice? Or simply the receiving of a deserved punishment?
And if it was a sacrifice, what made it one? Her reasons? The way she went about it? What she achieved?
Explain with reference to the book.
Feel free to extend the discussion beyond the questions and simply talk about the book as well :D
