If you're still looking for beta's, let me know. I'd love to see where Bill's headed.
I only beta apocalyptic fiction and this one sounds right up my street.

Thanks again to everyone in this wonderful forum!
I'm putting the final touches to Book 2: Wasteland, but I'm worried the style is very different from the first book, and since for most readers it will only be a matter of weeks between reading the two books, that the differences will jar too much.
Obviously I'll give you a copy of Book 1, if you have the time to have a look at Book 2. Basically I'm looking for someone(s) who will read the books in close succession and see whether or not Book 2 holds up, or whether its too rushed.
Book 1 is about 70,000 words. Book 2 is about 80,000 words. Book 2 hasn't yet been formatted for kindle (that's my job for this evening) and still needs a bit more proofing.

Book 1 Synopsis
The outbreak started in New York. Within days the infection had spread to every corner of the world. Nowhere is safe from the undead...
Bill watched from his window as London was evacuated. His leg broken, he is unable to join the exodus. Turning to his friends in the government, he waits and hopes for rescue. As the days turn into weeks, realising inaction will lead only to starvation and death, his thoughts turn to escape.
Forced to leave the safety of his home he ventures out into the undead wasteland that once was England, where he will discover a horrific secret.
Book 2 Synopsis (which I'm writing off the top of my head)
Billions were infected. Millions were killed. The Evacuation failed.
Bill Wright's search for answers continues, as he meets other survivors, rescues and is rescued, betrayed and redeemed, on his journey to Lenham Hill
I was meant to put book 2 out at the begining of this week. It's going back to the proofreaders this weekend, but if i can i would like it up before Christmas. I know this is a lot to ask, but if you don't ask...
Thank you for your time.
