Earnest Recommendations is where you can promote other self-published authors and encourage members to check them out. Sing their praises, tell people why it's something they want to read and anything else that will help another indie author get some attention.

The only rules here are:
- Do not promote your own book. Please keep that in Shameless Self-promotion.
- Don't recommend prolific authors or books that don't need help attracting readers. JK Rowling, Stephan King, Neil Gaiman and so on are doing just fine, so recommend indie authors who are still dreaming about seeing their names on Bestseller lists.

Olivia I know someone who has written a brilliant book recently. She works for my mum her name is Mandi Greenwood. The book she has written is called, six steps Down. If you like YA books, teenage romances, a little mystery and adventure, as well as a tale of an unusual group of friends this is the book for you.
Blurb...
When Aisley Brannon first comes to live at Sheldon's seat, little does she know of the tragic history she is about to uncover. A school project throws her together with 5 friends as they decide to make her home the subject of their presentation.

What ensues is a hundred year old journey of mystery and discovery, running alongside a turmoil of a modern teenage love story. Aisley and her friends ride a roller coaster of intrigue, heartbreak and disaster before the truth is finally revealed.

This is one of the most well written books I have ever stumbled upon. The language, description and vocabulary used in this book will keep you hooked and reading if nothing else.

This book has something for every reader young or old. It has a beautiful romance (up there with the fault in our stars), mystery, adventure and discovery, it even has the tiniest bit of supernatural action- but I won't reveal to much.

The history of her house into what she is researching is absolutely brilliant. Into a hundred year old love story, and the actions of a hundred year old romantic. Look it up on mandi's blog, give it a go.
