I don't see why they wanted it so short - it was the shortest movie based on the longest book. The editing was pretty choppy, but it doesn't seem as bad after three or four times of watching the movie. It fits the mood. What they really needed to have more of is Snape's worst memory and the prophecy explanation. This is actually my second favorite movie. I love Imelda Staunton! (spelling?)

She plays Umbridge, but I don't know how to spell her name and I'm too lazy to check.

Yeah. She should have looked more like a toad, but her acting is great.

It was my favorite book, so I was kind of disappointed by the movie. Especially when they didn't add RON'S QUIDDITCH!

I wish they had added Quidditch too, but it's understandable they didn't because they needed to cut out practically all the subplots from such a long book. If they had put Quidditch in, Ron's story might have seemed repetitive in HBP to some people who only watch the movies.

they shouldve included the WHOLE snapes worst memory thing, lol

Yeah. I think that and the prophecy are the two things that they really should have elaborated on. Snape's worst memory should have been done like the diary emeory in CoS or the Pensieve memories in GoF or HBP.

I REALLY was looking forward to Snape's memory, even more than the Quidditch. They showed it so fast, in a blur I didn't know what was happening. I wish they detailed it, like JKR describes it in the book. I didn't see Peter Pettigrew there, either.

I know! It's so important for the audience to see Snape's humiliation at James and Sirius's hands. They really need to show how Snape's hatred for James along with his love for Lily which shape his character and explain his behavior toward Harry.

Snape's worse memory was my favorite part in the book! when I saw the movie I got so mad and I was jsut like "They butchered it! they butchered my favorite part!"

i really just wanted them to express it in as much elaborate detail as possible, because, other than the fact that its my fave part, id just wanna watch the movie w/ my snape obsessed friend to see the look on her face during that scene... i can just picture it... priceless horror...

Me too! They don't really apparate like that in the book, but it is cool to watch in the movie.
