Thomas (thomasp) | 4 comments Hello, ciao Massimiliano and other members of the Group!
I hope you all are not just well but very well!!!
Have a look at my photos about Australia on my website www.australiantravelstories.com
Usually I read a lot but somehow missed out on reading new books lately. This year two of my books have been published, one about Australia (Across Australia from East to West) and one about digital photography (Definitely Digital!) All the best to all of you from Thomas

Thomas (thomasp) | 4 comments Ciao ancora, Massimiliano, what can I write about myself? My website contained a lot of information about me but when I replaced the photos with new ones, I thought I had better make the text shorter and more to the point. I was born in Hungary and live in Australia, I retired from my profession as a chemical engineer in 2002 and since then keep churning out books. These are mostly travel-photo books about Australia but are others as well, like the digital photo book. I teach digital photography at U3A - these are special classes for the elderly. Today I have read the school reports of my grandchildren, the best reading I have had for a long time. Cheers, all the best: Tommaso

Thomas (thomasp) | 4 comments Oh, yes, something else Massimiliano and other members of the group. There is a wonderful second hand bookshop in Fremantle, called Elizabeth's Bookshop. Fremantle is the port city of Perth in Western Australia. Whenever I used to visit Perth I made a point of visiting this shop and stock up with books. Katoomba is in the Blue Mountains, about 80 km West of Sydney. Its main street has several wonderful second hand bookshops. I bought there books about the great movie directors, Fellini, Renoir and Zeffirelli. They also have non-English books, so I found there a couple of light weight romances in Italian. They are no great literature by any means but very useful as reading practice since they are reasonably easy to understand even with my limited knowledge of Italian. These are my thoughts for you this evening.
