My next novel will tell the story of King Cawl as he sails to the ruins of ancient Das'von where he hopes to find the symbol of power that once united the entire world, The Broken Throne.

Against him are the people of Stav'rol ruled by their Guide who live by the code of The Fist. They believe humanity alone can bring back the Old Empire and want the Broken Throne for themselves.

It is the story of a men dedicated to freedom standing against a totalitarian state where everyone does as they are told.

My sixth novel: The Broken Throne.

In planning for this book the story changed a lot. It now exclusively follows Dietrich Hermann a soldier of Stav'rol who has been tasked with infiltrating the crew of the Prince of Corland.

He is to make sure that if the Islanders find the Broken Throne that they do not keep it.

I'm about 58,000 words into it. If I can keep up the pace I'll finish the rough draft next weekend.

I finished up the rough draft yesterday. It came in at 93+K words which will probably translate to right around 100K for the finished product.

I'm going to start the rewrite today or tomorrow.

I think it's quite good. It's a little more action orientated than The Spear of the Hunt.

I'm halfway through the final proof and my editor has the first half of the book. I'm looking at a late March or early April release date.

I need to start thinking about the cover soon!

I finished up the Final Proof and it's now with the Editor. I'm quite happy with the novel. It's both a fun story and discusses the nature of tyranny versus freedom through the main character.

I think the ending is very strong which is always important. It's good to leave the readers with that sense of completion when they finish the book.

It should be released late this month or early next month. I hope everyone enjoys it.

It's done. I'm awaiting word from Amazon and Barnes and Noble when they finish processing and it's up at Smashwords already.

Links posted soon.
