Can you read 2 or more stories/novels/books at the same time?
Not usualy, only if they're simple to follow and I don't have to keep re-reading to remember important details.
I've done it. It is possible. There are reservations ,however. A book can be found to be too involved, too detailed, deeply rooted in plot and full of too many characters can be a struggle for a person to read without the ultimate distraction of a second novel.I have read two novels at the same time. On a long journey on a bus in the morning I've started with one novel. On the way home at night I've read the second one.
It is strange your question as there is a plot involving a father from India who is proud of his daughter. He takes his friends up to her bedroom and points out she is readig 12 books at the same time. Yes there she is sat in a circle of 12 opened books reading few pages and then moving onto the next one until she is back at the start. And then so on and so forth.
There then follows questions from the father's friends about the contents of the book and clever girl know all the plots.

That's cool! I'm glad that there are people in this world who are able to multi-task like that, the world wouldn't be able to function the way it does now.
uh i can read multiple books at a time but i prefer not to because i dont want to miss the actually meanings and important deets.

i can. i believe i once read like 4 books at a time. but it gets confusing.
4 books max but i get the charries mixed so i get really confused.

yea i'm attempting to read the 3rd harry potter book and the 4th and the 5th in the way Cleveland wrote about it...

You know I think about it like watching TV shows. You don't get mixed up with the shows right? Same with books. Only if they are extremely similar, or part of the same series is when it gets confusing.

I just finished two books, so yeah...I can read two books at a time, but yes Cara is right!

cool. what was ur fave? i think the last one was the best
well you can't literally read both of them at the same time but I do have open books, i.e. currently reading bookS. I shift books whenever I feel like the topic has become too common or I'm bored. I do noticed that the themes are varied when I read, for instance, amid exorcist, I am reading inkdeath.
