Leslie I'm new to reading challenges this year. I thought it would be a great way to read some of those books that have been gathering dust these past years. I want to start small, but will post my list of 12 soon.

Leslie I finished the first book off of my TBR list...Between the Lines by Jodi Picoult and Samantha Van Leer. I had previously read all of Jodi Picoult's books and loved them all. I have been very curious to check out the book she wrote with her daughter, but had not gotten around to reading it. It was clearly a YA book, but I enjoyed it. It must have been a great experience for the Mother and Daughter.

Leslie Book #2 done. I have had Lying with Strangers on my shelf for many years. It was different than I expected, with a couple of good twists at the end that I did not see coming.

Awesome progress, Leslie! I've read Between the Lines, what did you think of it? Also, I want to read The Color Purple. Is it worth the notoriety it has achieved?

Awesome..."

Thanks Lisa. I am a huge Jodi Picoult fan and I found this written very much in her style with the different voices. Definitely a YA book, but I thought it was pretty good. I thought the Colour Purple was really well written. I would love to see the movie now that I've read the book.
