María, Inês, and myself will be reading This Is What Happy Looks Like starting January 12, 2014.

Synopsis from Goodreads
If fate sent you an email, would you answer?

When teenage movie star Graham Larkin accidentally sends small town girl Ellie O'Neill an email about his pet pig, the two seventeen-year-olds strike up a witty and unforgettable correspondence, discussing everything under the sun, except for their names or backgrounds.

Then Graham finds out that Ellie's Maine hometown is the perfect location for his latest film, and he decides to take their relationship from online to in-person. But can a star as famous as Graham really start a relationship with an ordinary girl like Ellie? And why does Ellie want to avoid the media's spotlight at all costs?

Inês | 583 comments @Lindsey: I cringed when that happened! :)

María | 2037 comments I'm starting. But I have a question for you girls: what does happy look for you?

Inês | 583 comments Caramel ice-cream. My friends. My family. Animals. Summer. The smell of a new book. Swimming. The ocean.Goodreads. Meeting new people :)

What does it look like for you? :p

message 10: by [deleted user] (new)

Starbucks coffee. A new/old book. A rainy day. Family and friends. Certain TV shows. Homemade food. Swimming. My dogs. Pie. Music. Movies.

María | 2037 comments A romantic comedy. My family. Christmas. A good story. My boyfriend‘s laugh. Presents. Books. A reading challenge. Cotton candy. Disney movies. Music. And God.

María | 2037 comments I usually read in English but obviously I prefer do it in Spanish. But the Spanish edition of this book haven't arrived to my country, Argentina. So... in English it is and I'm turning in a slow reader because of that. However, this is great book because reading it seems effortless to me. I'm already 30%

I think what is great about this book is the writing style. I love it. Having the emails as a way of communication is great and it's fun to read them. However there have been times where I just read the message part of the emails and have to go back to see who sent it.

Still only 60 pages in but I'm staying up late so I will get more done.

María | 2037 comments I had to go back too. And in the begining I though that she was G and he was E!!!

Overall a really great book. I enjoyed the writing style and the character development. The author was able to create some great characters. Had me hooked throughout the whole book.

Looking forward to her next book.

María | 2037 comments This is a serie?

message 24: by [deleted user] (new)

No. I just meant her book that is coming out this year. I really like the authors writing. I wish it was a series.

María | 2037 comments Ah, ok. I like this author too. However I only read one more book of her: The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight

rachel, x (typedtruths) | 8401 comments @Lindesy I am so sorry that I didn't get to read that much today! I have read the first twenty pages (the prologue) and I am already laughing out loud. Got high hopes for this one. :) I'll try and read some now but I going to bed so I might not get that much read. Let you know in the morning. :)

rachel, x (typedtruths) | 8401 comments Oops, I mean to go to bed but I ended up reading it and am now at 45%! This is freakin' fantastic! I looove the two main characters. I love the witty way in which it is written. The emails are sooo funny. I just am loving this. I wish I wasn't so tired, otherwise I would stay up and finish this. I could easily read this in one go. :)

message 37: by [deleted user] (new)

That's what I enjoyed most about this book. The writing is great. So easy to read/follow. You just keep reading.

rachel, x (typedtruths) | 8401 comments @Lindsey That is what I am loving about this too. Sorry for naming you in all my comments - I just assumed seeing your name above that this is who I was supposed to be buddy reading this with. Sorry! Who am I buddy reading this with...? :)

message 39: by [deleted user] (new)

I don't know who you are buddy reading it with but I'm more then willing to discuss it.

Inês | 583 comments I don't mind discussing it with you either Rachel :) Sorry for intruding, but I still get a warning every time someone posts here XD

message 41: by [deleted user] (new)

I think discussing this will help keep my need for another book from her developing too fast.

rachel, x (typedtruths) | 8401 comments @Lindsey + Ines Thanks guys! I don't remember who I am buddy reading this with but oh well if they forgot its their lose! I am loving this so much. Graham! <3 Though I don't think his name suits him. My grandpa's name is Graham so I keep thinking of an old guy! :D

rachel, x (typedtruths) | 8401 comments 73% - (view spoiler)

Inês | 583 comments Graham is a very swoon worthy character :) I don't know any one named Graham, but that's normal, I guess, language differences and all. XD

I know what you mean about homework. When I start a good book I know it's going to pile.

It so isn't fair! I have so much of it but I just want to read this. :(

message 48: by [deleted user] (new)

I would take Graham as a book boyfriend too.

I put myself on a reward system to get my work done. I set a amount of work to do and once done I allow myself to read my book for a couple minutes. It helps me get my work done.

rachel, x (typedtruths) | 8401 comments @Lindsey <3

That's a good system! I might try that. Thanks. :D

Inês | 583 comments I sometimes try that, but I'm one of those persons who as little to none self control when it comes to books, so I just try to stay away from books when I have a lot of homework, which isn't working out a lot either XD I think the only way to have time for everything would be no sleeping at all :)
