From the book,"The power of six", shows that characteristic traits of Marina, who is very weakened and very frightened towards the Mogadorians, whose goal is to wipe out the Lorien race and take over the lorien's home planet. This much like in real life where the aliens tried to conquer our planet back in the 1940's, 1950's, 1960's, and 1970's.
