This is the place where we will start a 100 book list that we wouldn't suggest for content and/or lack of enjoyment.
#1 What If.... Everyone Knew Your Name
(Suggestive Content- Horrible writing)
May u continue(;

message 2: by Dominique (new)

Dominique (domsvoyages) #2 Emmy and Oliver by Robin Benway

message 3: by [deleted user] (new)

3. Codex (too adult and has THE WORST ENDING OF ANY NOVEL, EVER)

message 4: by Ruth (new)

Ruth (ruthelizabethg) | 191 comments #4 Venom by Fiona Paul. I will forever wish I hadn't finished it. Due to suggestive content and creepyness.

message 5: by Kayla (new)

Kayla #5 The Sight (really weird stuff in it and TERRIBLE ending!)

message 6: by Kayla (new)

Kayla (I didn't read the whole thing, just skipped to the end after awhile to find out where everyone ended up. I wish I hadn't
:(

#6. Hands of Darkness
(Creepy off the chart- laid it down and never finished it because of it. *scared face* )

message 9: by Halee (new)

Halee (im4israel) I know a lot of people will disagree but- The Divergent series! Way too much inappropriate content...I only read Divergent and then the first few pages of Insurgent so I don't know if it's got bad language.

#8. The Twilight series. (Probably some who will disagree about that too, but... oh well!)

message 11: by Halee (new)

Halee (im4israel) No. I totally agree!

message 12: by M.K., Creator And Moderator 🎉 (new)

M.K. Aneal (mkaneal) | 6178 comments Mod
Oh i totally agree with you both!!! For sure!!!

message 13: by Tamara (new)

Tamara Georges (tamarasinnamon) The last book has bad language Halee. I also wouldn't recommend reading it.

message 14: by Frederick (new)

Frederick #9 - "River of Stars", by Guy Gavriel Kay. For being a mashup of historical fiction and fantasy in a place based on ancient China, the book has a surprising amount of coarse language and shall-we-say explicit scenes within the first quarter of the book. I gave up soon after that. It's predecessor, "Under Heaven", has far less of that and is therefore bearable if you're mature about it.

#11- I know they're considered "Christian", but I'll just say: Stay away from Deeanne Gist's books. Way too sensual! And even if that wasn't an issue, the stories aren't that great anyway. :/

message 18: by Halee (new)

Halee (im4israel) Yeah, I've heard that! I know I tried to read Deep In The Heart Of Trouble and it seemed really boring..And the couple barely knew each other at the place in the book where I was reading so I didn't have to experience any inappropriate content. Thanks for letting me know!

message 19: by M.K., Creator And Moderator 🎉 (new)

M.K. Aneal (mkaneal) | 6178 comments Mod
Really? That's shocking! I'll be staying away from those!! Lol

message 20: by Halee (new)

Halee (im4israel) I don't recommend reading anything Mary Connealy....Super cheesy..They're not inappropriate books they're just too lame for me!

message 21: by Brandi (last edited Aug 31, 2015 01:36PM) (new)

Brandi | 224 comments Sorry, Halee, can't agree. Mary Connealy's one of my faves! :)
How are they cheesy to you?

message 22: by Brandi (new)

Brandi | 224 comments I agree about Deeanne Gist though. She would be a great author, I think, if her novels were actually appropriate.

message 23: by Halee (new)

Halee (im4israel) Oh ok! Sorry, wasn't trying to insult! I'm really glad you love them.

message 24: by Brandi (new)

Brandi | 224 comments Don't worry. I don't feel insulted in any way! I'm just wondering what you didn't like about them.

message 25: by Halee (last edited Aug 31, 2015 01:41PM) (new)

Halee (im4israel) Oh, ok. I just thought they were cheesy. That is all. :-)

message 26: by Brandi (new)

Brandi | 224 comments All right. In what way were they cheesy to you, if you don't mind my asking? (If you do, you don't need to answer.) :)

message 27: by Halee (new)

Halee (im4israel) Well, to be honest, I haven't read one of her books in a few years. I just remember that the relationship was kind of predictable. Since you love her so much, I think I'll try her again. :-)

message 28: by Brandi (new)

Brandi | 224 comments Oh yeah, well, they are pretty predictable. But aren't most love stories? They fall in love, something gets in their way, they conquer it, and live happily ever after.
I really like them, but don't try again just because of me. :)

message 29: by Halee (new)

Halee (im4israel) Yes, that's true! Hahah. No, I want to try them again.

Sorry.... *looks around awkwardly* I can't comment because I don't like romance. Hahahahaha XP

message 31: by Halee (new)

Halee (im4israel) Ha! It's okay! For conviction or for preference? (that was super nosy...Sorry!)

message 32: by [deleted user] (new)

13-ish: Sweet Valley Twins series. *gag* Those are so so so so so SO shallow and stupid....

message 33: by [deleted user] (new)

14. Invasion of the Overworld--even if you're a Minecraft fan, this isn't great. Yes, I plan to read the sequel, and the plot was okay, but the writing was so I-don't-even-know-how-to-describe-this-politely that I can't recommend it.

M.K. Aneal (mkaneal) | 6178 comments Mod
Haha that's okay Halee(: I'm an open book- Hahaha get it? But I'm serious I'm pretty open. Of course I only read clean books but I'm sure there are some clean romance books(: But just for preference really. Romance movies make me even lonelier. Okay that probably sounded pathetic. Hahahaha XP

message 35: by Halee (new)

Halee (im4israel) Lol. That comment made me laugh! Hey, single and waiting! :-)

message 36: by M.K., Creator And Moderator 🎉 (new)

M.K. Aneal (mkaneal) | 6178 comments Mod
Hahaha!! Exactly exactly!!! Waiting!! Hahaha :D

message 37: by Brandi (new)

Brandi | 224 comments I only read clean romance and it does make me kinda lonely but I don't really expect to be married in my mid-teens anyway, so... :)

message 38: by Halee (new)

Halee (im4israel) Hahaha! Yes. I'm 13 so marriage is not reachable at this stage. LOL. :-D

message 39: by [deleted user] (new)

15. Amazing Questions & Answers--I got it as a gift, flipped through it, there was something about evolution or the big bang...nope! The other sections were kind of cool, though.

message 40: by Halee (new)

Halee (im4israel) Oh! Speaking of getting books, I HIGHLY recommend NOT reading Miss Pereginne's (not the correct spelling) Home For Peculiar Children! I only thumbed through it but it looked VERY disturbing!

message 41: by [deleted user] (new)

Halee wrote: "Oh! Speaking of getting books, I HIGHLY recommend NOT reading Miss Pereginne's (not the correct spelling) Home For Peculiar Children! I only thumbed through it but it looked VERY disturbing!"

I liked it. Yes, it was weird, but I've read weirder. (See my first post in this thread for an example...) :)

message 42: by Halee (new)

Halee (im4israel) Well, I get creeped out kind of easily so I have to watch what I read.

Omg yes. That book was TERRIBLE. Usually James Patterson writes some pretty good books, but that was not one of them.
