I thought it was sad that Jonathan died, I liked him. And I thought it was cute that she named her child after him but I'm wondering why no one knows that she is Jonathan Tear's mother. Maybe she didn't want anyone to know? (hide spoiler)]

I'm glad that she is taking birth control because I would hate to have a child with her abusive alcoholic husband. I hope nothing to terrible happens to her and that her bruises heal. (hide spoiler)]
27%: (view spoiler)[Nope, Lily's life still sucks ass. Then there's Kelsea who is dealing with the holy priest or high priest - I can't remember what his name was. Either way he is a big douche and I hope he dies. I also wonder if Pen is the guard that he was talking about?!? Idk. I need more information. (hide spoiler)]

Pg 55 - (view spoiler)[ Ummmm....I'm a little confused about the Lily parts. It felt a little jarring switching to a contemporary time period, and I'm not sure how this fits in with Kelsea's story. I'm willing to wait it out, but it feels weird to me. (hide spoiler)]

pg 183 (end of book one) - (view spoiler)[ Alright, so this background on the pre-crossing is starting to be interesting, but I'm not sure if I agree with Kelsea's decision to spend so much of her energy following Lily's story. Doesn't she have more important problems in her kingdom to solve? (hide spoiler)]

pg 392 (end of book two) - (view spoiler)[ I am confused. The black thing warns the Red Queen not to invade, but she does it anyway and he doesn't punish her?

So hoping that Greg is DEAD! I hate that jackass. I still don't understand why Tear can't take in Lily or at least get her to safety outside the wall. She's done a lot for them and basic honor would NOT have him sending her back within the wall for punishment. I don't get it.

Another thing I don't get is that Kelsea seems to be turning evil/dark. I would have thought all this time spent in Lily's head would be making her more compassionate and empathetic, but her actions in her own time seem to be the opposite. I don't understand. (hide spoiler)]

Finished - (view spoiler)[ I'm confused again. Kelsea figures out the Red Queen's name, but it does nothing to help her save her kingdom really. I assume that something in the next 3 years will allow her to get her sapphires back, but for all the build up for knowing the Red Queen's name, it hasn't had as much power as I thought it would.

How will Kelsea finish Lily's story? If she can't, it seems like this plotline was nothing more than a bit of background information.

Poor Mace, he has a lot of work to do!

I also want to add that I am done shipping on Fetch. I'm not sure where in the book I stopped liking him for Kelsea (maybe when she started up with Pen??) but I'm over him. I'm not sure I see her with Pen either, so who will she end up with?? (hide spoiler)]
