What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

I had a book, a sci fi romance about a military officer that was hurt while protecting a scientist that worked with cyborgs.She was in love with him but never told him he also was in love with her but never disclosed it. She recovered the body and gave him cyborg parts. She had her own spaceship with a lab and was doing all the work there. She had the body for a number of years, she rebuilt him and used his brain cells but thought she was unable to bring him alive and was very sad but didn't want to give up. He had awareness of what was happening for a long time but she didn't know. Eventually he got strong enough to finish completing the transition himself and become completely mobile. I also think one of her scientist colleagues came on her ship and warned her that a Government Group was after her. The cyborg eventually left to go help the rebels in a war leaving the heroine pregnant. Her fellow scientist colleague fought in the same war, got injured and also ended up with cyborg parts. There was also a woman fighter that the heroine had given a cyborg arm to. I accidentally deleted it and cannot rember the author or title and can't find it again.

When you say you deleted it, was it from a Kindle or other ereader? Your account history will show it if it was. (I really hope you find it. It sounds like something I would like to read myself!)
