Joy | 40 comments I had a really awful time finding a book for this week. The ones I wanted to read are not available for the Kindle, and the ones that are available all seem to be sci-fi, detective, mystery, or political. I just finished a Vietnam book this morning, so I wanted something light. I was happy to see The Last Unicorn for the Kindle, bought it, and then found out that it is a graphic novel version. I remember the Disney movie of Escape to Witch Mountain from my elementary school days, so I finally settled on it.

Samantha | 122 comments I thought about doing this one as well, I loved the movie when I was young. Think it it is funny that the girl is one of the crazy real housewives.

Was the book any good?

I'm just starting it tonight. I'll let you know. :)

Amy Stabenow | 21 comments I loved the book as a youth, and re-read it many times, in fact I'm pretty sure I've re-read that book more than any other. Even today I go back and re-read it every once in a while. I love Alexander Key, and he has other good ones as well.

Joy | 40 comments Just finished it - what a great blast from my childhood! I didn't remember the story at all, and it was a quick, relaxing read. Very interesting to see the 1960s issues - space, communism, the environment.
