Please use this folder to voice any suggestions, ideas and criticisms about our group. This is a forum for you to help the membership determine the direction we would like our new group to go. What do you hope to get out the group and how can we, as a community achieve it? Please keep your comments constructive. If you have something negative to share, please do so respectively and always offer a solution.

Thank you.

Kenneth Geary (KagedBooks) (kagedbooks) | 2 comments There are a lot of threads in this group, a lot. I'm not sure if there is a way to archive them or remove them. I think this would better promote the idea of the clean slate and make finding new information less daunting.

I agree and am working on trimming the old for the new. Will take a little time. Just reopened the site last night (2/17/14) thanks for the comment.

Ian Loome (lhthomson) | 2 comments Perhaps keeping it to five or six key threads, rather than five or six subtopics with a bunch of threads? I'm involved in a soccer forum and they've had a lot of success in both moderating tone and getting people involved by cutting things waaaay back, rather than trying to be all things to all people. This is a pretty specific subtopic (obscure, unknown writers like yours truly!) and probably keeping it that way by limiting the number of new threads, if possible, would help

Perhaps just one overarching main topic, and then a policy to close any thread that hasn't been commented in for, say, 15 days?
