Blia I recently finished a book called Sweet Thing by Renee Carlino and am so in love with the book. If I was to ever write a book. That'd be it. Am looking forward to the sequel.

message 3: by Damini (new)

Damini I last finished The Windmills of Gods by Sidney Sheldon and it was a great read, fast-paced, thrilling and there were lots of unexpected turn of events.
Yes, I'd recommend it to those who love reading thrillers.

I LOVED the book!! One of my absolute favorites...you must have loved the book! And yeah...the ending's a little sad to digest...especially what happens with Mariam and all and the letter Laila finds...

Yeah...if you just give it a thought and think about Mariam's whole life, she never really got any happiness except for those few years with Laila and her children.

Yup. even in the end she had to sacrifice herself for the happiness of Laila and she willingly did it. :)

I just completed The Help by Katherine Stockett last night and though I though it was a nice book, I couldn't really seem to love it. I liked the story, characters, setting and the writing too, but where I was expecting a different, special story, I was disappointed.

Kat Desi (katdesiwrites) | 64 comments I just finished reading Tina Folsom's Scanguards Vampires. This is paranormal romance.

I LOVED IT! Every book! I do recommend it to everyone but there's plenty of explicit sex scenes so read at your own risk! Also book 8 (Thomas's Choice) is M/M Romance. The list is in chronological order...

Samson's Lovely Mortal (Scanguards Vampires, #1) by Tina Folsom Amaury's Hellion (Scanguards Vampires, #2) by Tina Folsom Gabriel's Mate (Scanguards Vampires, #3) by Tina Folsom Yvette's Haven (Scanguards Vampires, #4) by Tina Folsom Zane's Redemption (Scanguards Vampires, #5) by Tina Folsom Quinn's Undying Rose (Scanguards Vampires, #6) by Tina Folsom Oliver's Hunger (Scanguards Vampires, #7) by Tina Folsom Thomas's Choice (Scanguards Vampires, #8) by Tina Folsom

I finished all of these in one week. And LOL I have to share this to everyone - I loved the series so much I had a couple of dreams of myself drinking blood from a bottle ;D
